never before a shoujo manga story was made this way! no wonder TAMURA yumi awarded Shogakukan Manga Award in 2007 in shoujo category. my lord, you must read it yourself.
what would you do when you're wake up next morning only to find out that the EARTH is having its second time "after ice age" condition. a meteor impact changed not only earth surface but also all its inhabitants going a second kind of evolution. you and a few selected people were preserve to continue human existence without having to do that evolution process. a kind of survival game, but this time no TV crew, no publication for the winner, nothing but only you, your instinct, your guts and few trust to self to keep that maimed soul inside you alive in this super cruel Earth.
the next manga that i would recommend after MONSTER and 20th Century Boys.

I think Mark, Maria and mane people did good job. They fulfilled their missions to the end, and they satisfied with their life. Many people acted for another people, and sometime they said lie to make people relief. The people who was in the shelter couldn’t survive, but the diary that Mark left tells their brave figures and important things to live in the future.

Reading this manga remind me on one Tv series, LOST... It's about surviving in wild life.
The earth is about to collapse...like the movie Armageddon, a gigantic meteor is about to hit the earth. Some country especially Japan, preparing a program to preserve humankind. They call the program as 7seeds, contained with 7 seven team with each team contained 7 person with a guide ( it will be 8 persons ).
They were freezed until the right time to wake up n live their life in new environment that they never experienced before.
It's awosome manga..help u a lot when dealing into wild life such as hiking or camping

A girl wake up and find the world she unknown. Later she find out she was one from the 7 Seeds chosen as "Adam & Eve" and awake in the future world after second impact. How can the group survive in the new inhabitant?
