Many people are seeking alternative ways to build meaningful relationships and effective ways of working together in various communities and groups. Peace and power processes, as presented in this book, are designed to create movement away from practices that alienate and oppress toward practices that nurture and empower. Peace and Creative Leadership for Building Community can serve as a handbook to inspire ways of living your values in work groups, voluntary community action groups, and at home.
I would have to see the precepts of this book in practice before making a formal judgment. Many of the ideas seem a little fluffy/touchy-feely to me. I especially don't like how it is labeled as feminist...why do these values/processes have to be confined to a specific movement/group?
