What in the cockamamy, instalove, mc wannabe drivel did I just read? The like--twentieth book of this series came up as a recommended, so I downloaded this to get an intro to the world building, but world? What world? This is dumb.
I've never read a book I wanted to write a review about LESS. Pick up ANY OTHER MC book. Literally. Any other. This one isn't it.
Why I couldn't connect with the characters in this book, I have no idea. The story line should have pulled me but it didn't. It felt like watching a bad movie, you could not turn off. I'd skip this book. Shirley

Jaxon de Ashley Zakrzewski
Argumento:
A ver ... No me conmovió y no me afecto y debería.
I have no idea why this book is entertaining, but it is. I think it’s because the main characters are so well written. They are truly likable people. The basic plot is also good. The problem is that the author gets caught up in minutiae. Then when something interesting is about to happen, backs off and either has it happen off page, or not at all. For example, the FMC makes an important visit, and the door opens. The chapter ends, and suddenly it’s a different day and a different setting. The visit is not discussed. This happens repeatedly. I’m also not a fan of the sex scenes. I thought they were poorly written and not particularly interesting or hot. This book is better than average, but not great. I give it 3.75 stars, rounded up to 4 stars.

Jaxon by Ashley Zakrzewski is part of the multi-author Ride With Me series. This is an opposites attract romance about Rachel and Jaxon. She is a woman who lives in a small world with her safety at home and her books. He is the President of the Green Devils MC, big, tattooed and dangerous. The attraction is immediate but there are a lot of hurdles they will have to get over if they want a future together. I liked the story but there were a few times where it seemed to jump around, which made it a bit harder to follow at times. Otherwise it was entertaining.
A mash of first person POV and third person POV within a single sentence and the lack of flow even within the same chapter. Made it to 45% but couldn’t make it any further. The scene where she first goes to the club house jumps from him picking her up, to her taking a shot, suddenly back to her being picked up, and then back to the party. Idk if anyone proof-read this but it seriously needs to be edited.
This novella is action packed and filled with love. You have Rachel who has a troubled past that stays home with her books and then wild Jaxon who is covered in tattoos. Rachel & Jaxon have an instant attraction and Rachel isn’t sure if she wants to leave her safe space or take the wild ride with Jaxon. There’s passion, violence and twists. Overall a good read.
DNF. Wanted a short MC romance but the writing was so choppy you couldn't even follow along. One minute she was at work at the hospital and the next she was back at her apartment. It was too instalust to the point it didn't even make sense as to why the FMC was following along with what this guy wanted.
And in what world does it make sense to get on the back of a motorcycle after being in a car accident?
Overall, I will give this book 3 stars. However, the book was very disjointed and did flow very well. The story was good, but it jumped all over the place. It seemed like the story would be on one thing, and then it would jump to something. This left me wondering who was doing what and what was going on. I liked the characters, and her writing style was good. But I was overall just left meh.
I gave this book 2 stars because it was extremely hard to follow. There were huge gaps in the storyline and nothing made sense. I don't know if this was because the book was so short or what. This was my first time reading a book by this author and unfortunately I can't recommend this book and I'm not sure I will be able to read any other books by her.
Jaxon and Rachel meet when he saves her taking her out of her crashed car. It will start their journey and what a ride it turns out to be with all the thrilling twists and turns that their story takes. It is a wonderful story filled with drama and charismatic characters.

Good start to what I hope will be a long series . Great characters, filled with all the “feels”, hot sexy scenes and quite a bit of bloodshed. Can’t wait to read the next book . 4✨’s
Unfortunately this reads very AI written and is just not a pleasant read. Goes between first person to third person and just has so many missing things within. I wanted to love this book, but this won't be one for the shelf
