First off, this isn’t a traditional romance and I do like that. It involves love (love of MC brothers, love of wife and daughter) but it isn’t a struggle for it. I like that the hero is already surrounded by love and brotherhood.
The story involves a dispute over territory between two MCs. This could have been really interesting, but they talk, and talk, and talk about what to do without actually doing it on page. I have no idea if it happens off page; it isn’t mentioned.
Still, the book was entertaining and there was a small bit of plot, so I’ll give it a 3.5 instead of a 3, rounded up to 4 stars.

Brooks by Ashley Zakrzewski is part of the multi-author Ride With Me series. The story is different from what you would expect....but it is a wild ride to the ending. The Green Devils MC are at war over territory with a rival MC and Brooks family is caught in the middle. They are kidnapped which puts Brooks on a rampage and the GDMC trying to get them back before it is to late.

When a quarrel over territory erupts between two MC's Brooks family is caught in the fallout when they are taken. Will the Red Devil's be able to get Brook's family back unharmed. It is an intriguing story with lots of bickering and posturing.

Poche pagine. L'autrice ha scritto un episodio di pochi giorni che mi ha lasciata perplessa. Ho avuto quel senso di disorientamento che si prova se guardi una puntata di una serie TV a metà stagione.
