This is the second book in the “Mafia Queens Series” and tells the story of Eric and Mia. This book will not disappoint! Eric is bought in by Gianna, head of the Italian Mafia, to protect Mia, her best friend, from the Russian Mafia. Eric is the Enforcer for Gianna her cousin. The story is full of passion, intrigue, romance, danger, drama, betrayal,twists and turns around every corner!
The sizzle between Erica and Mia jumps off the page - it is electric! These two are so alike and I love seeing their relationship develop both inside and outside the bedroom. With both of them being dominant personalities, it is never boring! Hence, the book is action packed both inside and outside the bedroom.
A thoroughly enjoyable read from page to page, one chapter to the next - at times you are metaphorical “on the edge of your chair” wondering what will happen next. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

I was so excited for Mia and Eric’s book after Hers To Rule and they did not disappoint! I knew Mia was going to be a woman to reckon with (and she is) but I was not prepared for how heartbreaking her past was. Watching her transform to a strong mother to be and breaking the cycle she was forced to deal with as a child was such an important part of her story.
Eric’s immediate attraction and protectiveness over Mia and their baby was exactly how I pictured him to be. Their chemistry together and banter was the perfect mix throughout the book and the storyline kept me engaged.
This series is so flippin’ good! I loved the ending of Hers to Control and cannot wait for Riccardo and Anya’s story!!

Ok, I have to say this right now! I am a huge fan of C.A. Krause and I am SO glad I met her!!! Because going from BSDM to Mafia romance without blinking an eye – well, she probably blinked an eye, but for me as a reader, her ability to write in different styles, and with such power and strength in her writing – I am in awe!!! And I am doing a happy dance at her newest novel! Because yes, it is the second book in her latest Mafia Queens series – and I love those strong female characters who kick you-know-what, and enjoy a hefty bit of spice!!
This time we are enjoying Mia’s and Eric’s story. Action packed in and outside of the bedroom, and it is a dark mafia romance – so be sure to read the trigger list! But yeah, I definitely enjoyed it!

The action in this one starts right away so buckle up folks! I’m really not a fan of the pregnancy trope no matter what it entails I never seem to like it. The it’s my baby I’m gunna run to protect it from its father is just gross. Shame on you. I will say as I’m reading Mia is growing on me even with her desire to cut Eric out. I will end by saying it gets way better and makes me not cringe so much.
Oh snap the ending is definitely a cliffhanger that’ll have you going great so what now?!

I read book one from C.A, and I liked it, but I loved this one!! In book one, the FMC is very dominant, and for me, i didn't gel with her, but with Mia, you can't help but want a happy ending for her, and boy, does Eric test her lol. The spice from like 5% in was hot as hell but didnt over shadow the storyline. You get to learn a bit more about the MMC, who you meet a little bit in book one. Mia is very headstrong and has been through some sh!t, but I loved the relationship build up. This book does have pregnancy and has some dark themes, so I recommend checking triggers before going into this book.

This is book Two in C.A. Kraus's Mafia Queen series and to say it did not disappoint. The storyline is right on point. Mia is a strong-willed woman who will stop at nothing to protect herself. She likes to be in control of her life. Mia has to go on the run because of something her father has done, and now Eric is here to protect her. Mia is not one to like a male to protect her it has always been her taking care of herself.

I received this as an ARC and I am freely writing my personal review. I had already pre ordered this book because I loved the first book of the dark Mafia series so much. This particular book is not heavy on spice (2/5) but it’s definitely there between Eric and Mia. To me it’s much more mafia related but I enjoyed the strategic plotting between the main characters. Because you’re always trying to figure out the next steps of the plot it’s hard to put this book down.

I’m not going to lie I was a little nervous when I started this book when there was a pregnancy trope but while I read it, it wasn’t as much of an issue like it has been in other books. While it did alter how much badassery Mia did, it never took away the fact that she was and is a complete badass that took control of the situation while Eric was the stubborn baby daddy that wasn’t going to let her run off on him. Definitely can’t wait to read what’s next!

I was looking forward to the second book in this series, and it did not disappoint. In fact, I think it's even better than the first. I loved the pace and struggle. Both Mia's struggle with moving forward and her struggle in accepting who she is. It is beautifully written and equally entertaining. If you're looking for a quick-paced, sexy, and fun read, you need to pick this one up.

I really enjoyed the story. It reads really well and it has a great sort of realism about it. The dynamic between the two main characters is a very fun and exciting one. Although the romance bit is not as big in the forefront in this story, the whole story in itself is still a very thrilling read.

Controlled: A Dark Mafia Romance (Cruel Kings Book 2) By: Piper Stone. Controlled was the second book in this series and second Saint brother to find his true mate. It’s a well written story of two people from different world. I enjoyed this book tremendously.

Everything a mafia based romance should be. Dangerous, hot, and full of intrigue. Loved the loyalty and fight for control.
