Sal is about her business, her friends, her video games, and some light criminal activity. When the criminal activity lands her in hot water, she goes to her tried and true methods, but they all fail her. Devon is about his art, his physical therapy, his brother’s well-being, and his teaching. When his status in the US is threatened by his tendon injury, he realizes he's going to have to make some hard decisions. His solution? A modern marriage of convenience. Protection for Papers. When both realize they have way more in common than their friendships and passions, a primal connection threatens to upend everything they thought they knew. Can they overcome their past hang-ups and figure out a way forward together?
I need to break this into two parts. Overall this story had a lot going on! Family secrets, family connections, and family betrayal. All of this is on top of Sal’s secret business as Oracle where she saves women from being taken advantage of. Her identity is compromised due to a misstep in helping out a woman in person. Then we have Devon who is going to lose his current work visa at the end of the year and his brother has a year left in jail?! Baby this is ALOT. And for the most part, I was entertained by the journey to resolving who was after Sal. I will say the kink part felt thrown in because again there was so much going on in this story. Like the scek scenes were great but just felt a lot at times.
The second part of this story is I didn’t care for Sal at all. Very unlikeable character and tbh made me not want to push forward. She was going through a lot but her attitude towards men and lumping Devon in that same group got to be unbearable. I was so glad when Aisha checked her because she was big tripping.
Looking forward I’m curious about Mila because two situations popped up in the book regarding her that has me super curious.
Devon, the Jamaican enforcer & ballet dancer has been in lust with Salome, the quiet friend of the trio (Aisha & Mila), as well as the hacker & video game creator since they met.! They are forced together when they both run into trouble & need one another for help.
When they come together we learn that they both have crazy trust issues and neither one knows how to communicate! It became a bit exhausting!
There was a lot of family secrets that came to light in this second book! Some that were very surprising, & explains why we have a book about Jardel & I look forward to the other 2 that should follow! The spice was there!!! However, there was so much going on, I had trouble keeping up!
This book was exactly what I needed after taking a break from reading romance for a bit. I loved Devon and the writing, I wish we got a few more action scenes and maybe a few less jumps but the cuts didn’t disrupt the continuity. I really love what this author is doing exploring Black love in areas that are often either seen as taboo or underrepresented. Highly recommend it!
I received an ARC of this book I exchange for an honest review.
This book is everything. A sexy as hell story that I absolutely loved. I was able to appreciate their dynamic without being into the same kink they are. Sal and Devon, despite what they each think, are meant for each other. The situation with Sal caused them to get closer and discover their mutual attraction for each other. It grows over time, even before they realize it.
I won't be rating this book because I helped with the marketing and was a beta reader.
The tone of this book is very different from book 1. While there is kink, it's folded into the play rather than something that is being explored together, like with Aisha and Knox. Idk if I can call it a slow burn, but it has that vibe because Devon has to break down Sal's walls. She has trust issues and very much needs to be handled with kitty gloves. So I thought it was interesting that her kink was primal. What a juxtaposition because that requires a huge amount of trust that you won't physically get hurt. I'm not sure if that was intentional, but I do think that because you have to communicate, it provided an opening for their relationship. Devon was such a loveable MMC- he checked in, thought about Sal's needs, and apologized when he messed up. He also called Sal on her bs because she was on some. 🤭
The outside tension (what causes a need for marriage for protection) is an interesting twist that almost makes this book a romantic suspense. But a minimum it connects other players in this world and it feels like some stuff will unravel in the upcoming books in the series. I can't wait to see where it goes because Mari has the babies and Mr. Q backstory coming out a bit just feels ripe for some interesting dynamics.
CN: primal kink, forced abortion (characters implies that happens), dub con scenes, mention of forced deportation, incarceration, police corruption, death of a parent (cancer)
This two were definitely made for each other. He made it ok for her to be free to be who she was. Not only that but he did it along with her. He was patient with her too. I really hope Mila gets a story
This is the kind of marriage-of-convenience romance that sneaks up on you with charm, heat, and grown-folks tension. Their deal starts strictly business protection for papers, but the more time they spend together, the more that connection hums underneath everything. They match each other’s energy so naturally, messy and magnetic in all the right ways. The banter, the vulnerability, the slow unraveling of their walls… it all falls into place so beautifully.
I truly loved Sal and Devon. And lawd, those chasing scenes? Whew. Add in that Jamaican accent, Winston did the damn thing.
This is a story about choosing partnership even when your past tries to convince you you’re unworthy of it. Romantic, sensual, and full of heart, it gives you the perfect blend of tension and tenderness, with just enough chaos to keep you flipping pages.
4⭐ *Thank you to the author for providing an e-arc in exchange for my honest review*
What's a little marriage of convenience with criminal activity, primal play and complicated family dynamics between friends? Sal needs some protection after getting in slightly over her head and Devon needs a Green Card to stay in the US while he recovers from his injury, so why not help each other?
Sal & Devon's connection was interesting and it was obvious that the sexual attraction was on point from day one.
There was a bit of a push and pull between them that I'm not sure I enjoyed as much as I could have, but that's definitely because they both had walls up for almost the entirety of the book. Devon gave the illusion of openness and so it seems like Sal is the only person hiding in the dynamic, but we learn that is absolutely not the case.
It was surprising to learn more about Devon's backstory and I enjoyed those bits, though I wish they were fleshed out a bit more and spend time with his and his brother's people. Some of the Patois wasn't hitting the way it needed to but it was done mostly right.
The friendship between the women is always a high point but felt severely strained in some parts due to the Sal of it all. Sal is...a hard woman to get to know and to care for. She spends the majority of the book keeping everyone at arms length emotionally which is as a result of her family & relationship trauma (really girl, get some more therapy), but it made it more difficult to root for her. I appreciated her growth towards the end but she still has a long way to go for me.
Also can we talk about this part time receptionist who just be out here spilling people's private business cause she cannot read the damn room??? Girl...
When it came to the sex scenes and the kink, I really loved that. I enjoyed the hentai, kink and primal play. We don't see this kind of play pop up enough in kinky Black romance if you ask me.
I felt overall that though the writing was solid in this book, that there were too many moving pieces happening at once. While everything came together/made sense in the end, I probably would have preferred to lose an element or 2 from this to make a more cohesive storyline.
Plie ran circles around this book. I tried so hard to like it, but there was so much going on that it really didn’t make the spicy moments make sense at all. The kink was dope, but everything happened so fast and Sal’s immaturity and selfishness was exhausting as hell. I got bored and overloaded by 40% of the book and started skimming.
I’m still interested in reading more of the author’s works.
This series continues to be so good. Sal was catching my eye in the first book with her mysterious but intensely loyal nature so I was excited that she was in book 2. I liked the relationship that she and Devon created. I felt that the primal aspect brought a deeper level to the understanding of both main characters instead of just being a spice aspect which I thought was refreshing (I have read primal in books that is almost just for shock factor and hated it but not the case here). I enjoyed that this book had a little bit of everything, spice, great plot, and suspense for example. Also, I love Marriage of convenience and no spoilers but something Devon says at the end about their marriage and how it came to fruition got me good lol. Excited to see where this series goes next!
“A Turn in the Air” is the second “Wicked Moves” book by A.H. Cunningham. It tells the story of Jamaican professional ballet dancer, Devon, whose status in Florida is at risk so he enters into a marriage of convenience with Salome (Sal) who needs the protection of Devon’s gangster / drug dealing brother (for semi-complicated reasons I don’t want to summarize).
I love a marriage of convenience, although I most often read this trope in historical romance novels. Modern fake dating - definitely, less so actual marriage - but when I guy needs permanent residence in America, what’s a girl to do?
I was rather disappointed in this book. Loved the idea and loved Devon. Enjoyed the setting and themes about trust and intimacy and family dynamics. But there is a lot of boring / long parts to this book, in which the tension of who is after Sal remains unexplored and the romantic couple’s relationship is at a standstill. This could almost have been a long novella with a lot of chapters cut, or a dirtier book with more doing it.
I was not a big fan of FMC, Sal. She is mistrustful of all men because of one previous relationship (and all other men thereafter whom she feels betrayed / slighted by for various, mostly unnamed reasons).
[Mild spoiler] The third-act conflict results in Sal feeling deceived by Devon because he doesn’t explicitly say he used to be a hitman/enforcer for his brother; yet he does make it clear he used to work for his brother and had a dark past, isn’t a good guy, etc. – making it pretty clear to me exactly what was his gang role.
I gather the first book is daddy BDSM kink and this is mostly primal play (if you’re scared to look that up, it’s essentially run/chase/catch/eff-wherever-you-get-caught). I thought there could have been more buildup of the intimate relationship of our characters. They run into funny business out of the blue after Devon walks in on Sal taking care of her own needs (to be fair, Sal was in the living room when she’s caught, and they do negotiate play then wait a day or two before shagging).
I was entertained by the book, and thought there was a lot of good writing, interesting dynamics, I just had high expectations from other reviews and was overall disappointed.
Mufasa, Mufasa, Mufasa Look…listen, the way this set my primal kink ALL THE WAY OFF!! Ms. Cunningham you just out her exposing me like this? We gonna call the theme for this here book/series “feral.” The cover, the kink, Sal, Devon, the passion, the chemistry, the plot, all had me absolutely feral. And let’s not even talk about the growling. With each new release I continue to be enthralled by the level of detail paid to the kink and queer dynamics that Cunningham explores in her work. The multicultural representation, the love and attention that she gives to fat bodies. In a lot of ways her stories are love letters to the underrepresented and it’s beautiful to see. Now with that being said did I want to shake the spit out of Sal multiple times throughout this book, YES! But she is still my favorite character and member of this series’s friend group. The way Devon shows up for her and pays so much attention to not only what her needs are but also the best way to meet them for her was nothing short of perfection and envy inducing. The writing makes this an easy read and the pacing matched the natural flow of the story and character arcs. I am so grateful to have received this ARC because this series is doing IT for me! Happy Reading!!
I was soooo hype to read this book after falling in lust with Plié!
The main focus is on Sal, who often works at her friend Aisia's dance and ballet studio, and the delectable Devon who's a dance teacher there. This book kind of has a slow-burn vibe to it, which I don't typically like but once things started picking up I was invested! Devon is my new favorite book boyfriend in my head! He's so thoughtful and genuinely kind. He's attentive to Sal's every movement and I found that so alluring. Sal gives me strong Virgo vibes! A bad b!tch who doesn't take crap from anyone and is unapologetic about it. She's been hurt in the past by an old lover so she doesn't trust easily. There's a mention of her strained relationship with her mother/family that hints at childhood trauma.
Now, it wouldn't be an A.H. Cunningham masterpiece without some KINK! Sal and Devon explore each other's kinks. There's even a surprise cameo of a certain baldheaded demigod Master of Kink. You're gonna enjoy this one!
*Much gratitude and special thanks to the author, A.H. Cunningham for providing this ARC in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.
So much was going on in this story. I'm not so sure If I believe their connection. But it was a fun/quick read. The family drama was a bit much. The plot to me got a little lost. The banter was there. I wanted a little more back story on the FMC though.
i love a marriage of convenience trope, i really do. but i dont get why both this book and Plie (the 1st in the series) have third act break ups. that dont make any sense and seem to regress the story. and undo all the progress made by the characters. I love a strong willed Fmc as much as anyone, but Sal is just stubborn to the point of danger. she makes bad and selfish decisions and does not consider the feelings of her partner and her friends at all. She need to go to THERAPY, she is a Grown ass woman who is emotionally stuck at the age of 17 when the boy she liked stole money from her.
thank you to the author for providing an e-ARC in exchange for my honest review 🫶🏽
let me start by saying, this book was SO enjoyable. the romance, the spice, the DRAMA?! ugh, you did that A.H. you did that. witnessing everything from the trust and love growing between the main characters to them being able to truly be themselves and open with each other was so nice. they were down BAD for each other and I’m here for it lol. as far as the spice…babyyyy A.H. ate those scenes UP if I do say so myself. the one when he was trying to distract her while she played her game…CHEF’S KISS!! whew okay, let’s chat about the ending right quick. the last like 2/3 of chapter 38 was so good omg. it had the spice ofc but y’all it was also cute! especially that tank top moment!! like oh em geeee!! and the end of the epilogue? soooo freaking cute 🥹 they truly love and care for each other and it’s quite adorable. definitely rooting for them lol.
this is where I recommend the Wicked Moves series to y’all because…yes. and while you’re at it, check out the Firecracker Cousins series as well. again, thank you A.H. for this ARC and these characters who worked my nerves like I know them in real life 😂 as always, check cw/tw 🩷
p.s. when Aisha ate Sal up? I was here for it. like get her again friend! get her for me! 🤣🤣
Thank you to the author for providing an e-arc in exchange for my honest review.
I was granted an ARC of A Turn in the Air and I’d like to start this review by stating my receiving this book does not have any effect on my rating of this book.
It took me a little while to really connect with Sal’s character and their relationship but once I did the story got really juicy! This is a fast paced romance. I’d say the action in this book was really exciting. I can’t wait for the third installment.
Wow, this book had a lot going for it. I'm always on the lookout for a modern day marriage of convenience and this one involved Devon and Sal getting married for 2 very different reasons, her for the protection he offered and him for a green card. But so much other stuff happens, related to Sal being in danger bc of what she does as Oracle and it gets pretty convoluted. There's the added kink of CNC and it makes for a book that has a lot going on in it. Sal has trust issues, Devon has issues opening up and while I loved how they managed to become vulnerable with each other, all the other drama sort of distracted from the main romance.
Sal, under an alternate identity, uses her hacking skills and network to help women escape abusive situations. But this last one she helped has a man who needs her back badly, and Sal's cover is blown. Devon is injured and on a work visa that is soon running out. But he has connections that run deep and a network that can protect Sal. So he asks her to marry him--so they both get what they need.
I loved this. I knew something was brewing with Sal and Devon when they met because she tried too hard to be unaffected by him. Devon having this sensitive, gentle dancer demeanor hiding this primal, protective, enforcer husband was EVERYTHING for me. I loved that his strength and commitment as a dancer showed itself in his old life and was a part of him, and not a mask. He was hesitant with Sal, but he had reason to be and he course corrected when he stepped too far into what she knew before. He didn't just want to be with Sal; he needed her to see him, and trust him. And he was determined to wait her out. I loved that. Sal. Oh my sour patch kid Sal. She was so stubborn, infuriating and committed to her mission of being stoic around Devon. It was adorable seeing her try to hold herself in and then her grumpiness when she realized that she couldn't, that she wasn't meant to--at least not with Devon. The scars she had weren't insurmountable and I did find myself exasperated when she wouldn't try. But a fat, anime loving, nerdy FMC? Sign me up every time.
The intrigue surrounding Sal's past almost gave me too much, but I was able to keep up. That may have been a heavy addition to the plot that I wanted in slower spoonfuls. The new additions to her family made me raise an eyebrow and I loved that Devon was on the fence about them so long. A HUSBAND. But they rounded out the story in a unique way. Sal's father was really a terrible human. And I'm glad she was able to push forward with her mother. I'm loving what's coming up with the rest of her family.
Now let's get into the heat. Sal and Devon had me fanning myself. And the kink they had in common??? I'm very familiar and it does make things... hotter. I was so pleased they opened themselves up in that way, and that Devon used it to enter Sal's world, and her heart, just a little bit more. I loved the way the two of them had a signal and gave each other the encouragement to go further and the result was a lot of pleasure. And when they found they couldn't sleep without each other, I was gone. And Devon moving into her room was a great written touch that showed him meeting Sal where she was.
Aisha and Mila gave Sal all the love and attitude she needed and it was good to see them again.
*i was given an arc in exchange for an honest review
i’ve only read two of her books but i can tell A knows how to write a lusty, sexy but undoubtedly romantic story. like she just gets it. i admired sal so much. she’s my favourite character in this series as of right now. she did start to annoy me a bit in the end with her refusal to listen and taking every action as a slight to her. a major part of healing is realizing that not every one is out to get you. i’m glad she figured it out and got it together in the end cause she was tripping
the support system around her is crazy. i absolutely adored the found family dynamic. the way sal and her girls extended themselves to devon and his brother delroy was so sweet
the seemingly constant pivot from sex scene to deep conversation gave me whiplash. and if you know anything abt me you know how i feel abt that
on to my biggest gripe with the book. the patois. as a non-jamaican if you're gonna write a jamaican character, consult a jamaican or someone else who knows how to speak and write patois to get the verbiage right. or just have them speak english. this goes for any author that’s writing a character that speaks a language that they don’t (fully) understand. i always get excited to see jamaicans featured in romance books but this left much to be desired for me
other than that i loved devon as a character. he was so romantic and charming with a dangerous underbelly that i just ate up. he won me over when he (and idk if i’m spoiling here) told sal that he would give up dancing for her. and when you read the book and find out why he’s so attached to ballet then you’ll understand exactly what i’m saying. also the idea of a jamaican ballerina was alluring and touching because in our society careers that deviate from the lawyer, doctor, teacher norm are frowned upon and it’s a shame because there’s so much untapped potential here
outside of the romance the b plot was also interesting. and i won’t say too much here but such man is going to hell. that’s all on that for now
anyway this was a rather intriguing and fun read. go get it when it comes out and don’t let me get my belt
What an absolutely beautiful story, amidst all the drama, danger, and family struggles. Sal wants to create video games, hang with her friends, and help those in trouble. Sal seems to have crossed the path of someone she wasn’t expecting, and for the first time in a long time, she’s scared. But she doesn’t want her friends to know how bad the trouble it. Devon is a dance instructor, healing from an injury and working his tail off to get better. He finds himself in a precarious situation, and to her dismay, he’s also noticed that Sal’s not her usual tough-acting self, and senses there’s more than she’s letting on. To help them both with their troubles, he proposes a temporary marriage. Sal and Devon have secretly been noticing the other, and when they’re married status puts them in close quarters, it’s very hard to fight their attraction. Because of her past, Sal doesn’t trust easily, and as she and Devon get closer, they’re finding they have much more in common than they realized. As danger gets closer to their door, Devon is determined to help Sal, with or without her cooperation. Devon is holding a few secrets of his own, bringing both their pasts very close to destroying both of them. There’s quite a bit of action going on in this story, but it doesn’t feel crammed or unnecessary. I enjoyed every moment of this tale.
This was such an amazing story. Devon is all about his dance career and is determined to get back to his dance company once his therapy is done. But Sal has got him reassessing his life plan, and as tough as it is for her to fathom, Devon is making her rethink a few things other than being a video game creator—and that’s not an easy feat. Their chemistry is off the charts, and add they have a similar kink proclivity, and BOOM!! Not my type of kink, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying every minute of their sexy times together.
Plie was my first book of A. H. Cunningham’s, and that was a great intro to her work. A Turn in the Air was off the charts good, and I can’t wait to find out what she has next up her sleeve. Thank you to the author for providing an e-arc in exchange for my honest review.
My first read from her is book 1 of the Wicked Moves series, Plié, about Aisha and Knox, where we first meet Sal and Devon, the FMC and MMC of A Turn in the Air.
I rated Plié very highly, it was deserving. I read the ebook and listened to the audiobook (which is awful - avoid that version). I enjoyed Plié so much that I was PRESSED for A Turn in the Air and Cunningham didn’t miss at all.
The story is engaging and entertaining with characters that you are sure to love. The marriage of convenience trope is done so well and with so much respect for the diverse characters.
I don’t know any other romance/erotica author giving us Black and Brown characters with so much depth and variety — for that alone I have to praise AH Cunningham.
I appreciate the love and care she has for the communities she depicts in her writing and I really value just how diverse her characters are.
A Turn in the Air is a 5-star read for the writing, story, and characters. And a huge shout out to Wesleigh Siobhan for producing the audiobook, she did the damn thing. This is my third AH Cunningham audiobook and it is hands down the best, Elle Cleviden and Winston James did the damn thing.
Spice: 🥵🥵🥵
Content warnings: Graphic: Sexual content, Abandonment, and Stalking Moderate: Toxic relationship, Stalking, and Misogyny Minor: Kidnapping, Infidelity, Classism, Murder, and Pregnancy
After reading Plié, the first novel in the Wicked Moves Series, it was imperative that I read its sequel: A Turn in The Air, which picks up where we left off with Aisha and Knox's story and takes us into the world of Sal and Devon. We didn't know much about them at first, both were mysterious and essentially led very private and quiet lives. Which I think is a wonderful shift from the first novel.
It's always been Sal, Aisha, and Mila. And for Sal, as long as there is a computer and time to work on her video creations, that has seemed to be enough. She dibbles and dabbles in helping women who are running from men in slightly dangerous situations and that has provided her with some since of comfort. That is, until a situation becomes more complex and her safety is on the line.
When Devon joins Aisha's dance studio and he needs to do more to secure his citizenship, the offer is on the table for an arranged marriage with Sal. Protection for papers. But that isn't the problem... Sal and Devon have so much energy building between them that both of them have become vulnerable and emotions are tipping over. Begging the question of whether true love can come of such an arrangement.
It is a hot and erotic ride that is full of action, secrets revealed and answers to burning questions that will surprise you.
Ok so I listened to the audio while i read this book and I liked it but it def lacked somethings. I really loved devon as a character. He was a protector and an all-around good dude, he wanted to look after Sal and really let her in even though he was a bit hesitant on his part. He really put forth the effort and that was what I loved about him. That he expressed himself very well. I like Sal and how complex her character was. I loved that she was so strong and that she was equal parts as vulnerable as she could be. What bugged me about her though was that she was so closed off due to being wronged in the past but even with knowing that even i felt it was a bit much but sometimes all it takes is one time of hurt to span a lifetime. I didn't like how she was jerking my guy around like girl make up your mind or let him go. in the end though she frustrated me, they were perfect for each other and def were each other's better half.
The only downside to this book was the fact that I felt as though there was too much going on and there were Hella subplots that were tossed in and not fleshed out. Like it was a bit anticlimactic to find out who was after here. her bros being brought in felt a bit unnecessary to me but I was like ok. it was just too much going on.
Overall, it was a decent book, and I can't wait for the third installment. Cause I feel like that one is going to be wild. Still loved Book 1 best, but this was an interesting read.
Where do I start ? …….the main characters are sexy, smart, creative, and exciting. The female main character is Sal. A video game creator, hacker, anime lover, curvy, curly head woman. Who is 1 part of a 3 part group who help to get abused and or scared women out of their situations. This last time while helping a woman to escape her abusive boyfriend , Sal is followed in an attempted to find the last woman she hid. Being that people are now looking for Sal she realizes all her usual safety measures have failed her and she needs to figure out who these people are before things get worst. Our male main character is Devon . He is a Jamaican born ballet dancer working at Sals BFF’s dance studio while his Achilles tendon heals . Due to his injury , Devon’s work visa is at stake with his ballet company. He doesn’t want to be at the mercy of his company so in an effort to help protect Sal and solve his visa situation, Devon proposes a marriage of convenience with Sal. Devon and Sal find they have more in common than they knew ,which lead them to explore their sexual preferences with one another if you catch my drift. Lol. A lot of smut, love, black love, and bonds made .
This was my first read with a marriage of convenience trope, and I really enjoyed it. Loved the friendships and character banter. Sal and Devon’s chemistry, connection, and interactions were so organic that it didn’t even feel like a marriage of convenience for a large majority of the book. Sal and Devon did not play about each other, fake marriage or not. I loved Sal’s care for Devon although she had her guard up and was on Team #MenAintShit. I loved Devon’s protection over Sal like she was his real wife.
I also loved the various forms of representation throughout this book. I loved the plus size and blerd rep with Sal. I loved that she was a gamer and loved anime. I also loved the dancer rep with Devon. I enjoyed him being a dancer as male characters aren’t usually put in those roles. I loved the kink representation as it was illustrated and depicted well. It also peaked my interest, motivating me to do research and learn more.
I also enjoyed the audiobook as the narrators did a great job bringing Sal and Devon’s characters to life. I saw myself in Sal in many ways, and she’s the character I’ve related to the most in this series.
Overall, another great installment to this series and from this author.
** I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed Plié and was really excited to get into Sal and Devon's story. As a Jamaican, I was really excited to read/see a Jamaican man portrayed completely differently than how they are depicted in media and real life. Devon is a ballet dancer who has is own issues and acknowledges how his decision to dance has created some tension between him and his parents for obvious reasons. I loved that his older brother was the one to support his goals without question. (I do think the the patois/twanging could've been done a bit better, but that's just me nitpicking)
Sal was a tad bit frustrating for me. While I enjoy strong-willed, fiercely independent fmc's, Sal's consistent stubbornness kept hindering any progress her and Devon made Can I relate? Yes, but at one point I was like "girl, come the hell on!" LOL. Devon fought for that woman tooth and nail.
Primal isn't my preferred k!nk, but I did enjoy the scenes, and I loved how much Devon loved Sal's plus size body.
Overall, I enjoyed the book and will definitely be checking out Mila's story because I know that one is going to be extra messy.
