As the Wiltshire Pack Beta, Jase had always been the reliable one. When finding their mates distracted both his Alpha and the Delta, he was left holding the fort alone.
Out drinking one night, Jase found his mate at last, and in that moment, his dreams were shattered. How could he cope with the rejection of his mate, and his steady descent into addiction that everyone failed to notice, until it was too late?
Celebrating with the Wiltshire Pack one night, Oli scented his future, and realised in an instant that it would never work out. Rejecting his mate seemed like the only option, but as he and Jase kept getting thrown together, could they see past their differences? When disaster struck, and death came calling, would he even survive to reconcile with his mate?
Can Jase and Oli put aside the hurt they’ve caused each other, and the unconventional pairing they were destined for? And can two devoted members of separate packs find a way to compromise, or should they give up trying, and let the bond be broken, once and for all?

Jase was feeling like he wasn’t ever going to have the mate he dreamed of and the life he always wanted. He spiraled and his addiction to alcohol just kept the pain at bay for a short time so it got worse. Finding out who his fated mate was throws him for a loop and life gets very hard and worse for all involved. Finding peace and love finally makes what they went through much more powerful.
Storyline: 📙📙📙📙📙 Intimacy Level: 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒 Character Building: ➷➷➷➷➷ HEA: Yes Overall View: ✨✨✨✨✨ I really wish this wasn't the last book in the series because I've enjoyed all of them so much. Mia Fury has a great talent for keeping all the couples in her series going throughout her books. Her characters are well developed and I care about what happens to them. In fact, I think Mia Fury is the best writer of paranormal romance I've come across.
Jase and Oli's happily ever after was such a journey to go through. Definitely both pig headed, as stated several times in the book, lol, but so happy they finally made it. I had a feeling Verify would be involved, so was super excited at the end!!
Jase’s story packs one hell of a wallop!! A MC and FC who are both stubborn is exciting to read but two MC, both of whom are stubborn and don’t like giving in is absolutely mind blowing!! Watching Jase and Oli struggle to find their HEA was spellbinding. Jase is such a proud man. So in control. I so wanted to give him a hug and a guiding hand through his confusion and upheaval. He’s such a strong man, a caring man. But, a man who is completely flummoxed when faced with a future he’d never pictured. I think that Mia Fury has portrayed Jase’s struggle beautifully. Things in life happen that completely throw us and we have to scramble to cope with it - that’s something a lot of us can understand. He displays such an incredible strength in managing his demons when he finds himself at the bottom of a black hole. Mia portrayed this with care and a clear respect for the affliction. The depth of his pain is almost palpable. So real you can feel his pain through the pages. Oli is also a strong character and this causes no end of fireworks. Although some are very addictive and hot!!! Oli seems to be very faithful to those he has a bond with, predominantly his pack before Jase. That close bond that both Oli and Jase have with their packs is beautifully laid out. The camaraderie’s for both men and their families is lighthearted, funny and sometimes aggressive but it all seems to come from love and respect. He is a strong man to have overcome his own demons and in a perfect place to understand and help Jase. Watching them warily circle each other was so addictive, my heart was in my throat wishing I could slap a little sense into them to stop them putting their enormous feet in their mouths time and again. They’re individual stubbornness causing explosions when faced with the other. Watching two male characters is more explosive when written well, and make no mistake this book is written perfectly, but here we have two male characters that match each other as stubborn, take charge, alpha personalities, which means lots of tension. Which I turn makes this story one heck of a rollercoaster ride!! One you won’t easily forget. The chemistry between Jase and Oli feels akin to lighting the largest firework ever and sitting on the edge of your seat to watch the bangs and beautiful colours explode. Mia Fury writes about a lot of struggles that people endure, which in itself is a huge feat, but she also creates wonderful worlds full of depth, angst, pain, anger, love and a whole host of emotions that just flow through you and carry you along for a front row seat to their lives. This book is a perfect ending to the series. We get to catch up and watch past characters life’s unfold further. We get to see true struggles and determination in clear and bright technicolour. You can’t help but open your heart for these characters. You have a deep, vested interest in their lives and HEA. Like every single book Mia Fury has ever written, this story is as interesting, addictive and heart rendering as it’s possible. I don’t know how she achieves the fantastic heights she does with her writing but I thank goodness she does. Her diverse talent in different genres is unsurpassable. Absolutely first rate, and then some. Can’t recommend highly enough. There simply aren’t enough stars in the sky to portray how wonderful this book and series is.
This book surprised me (but in the best of ways). Having read books one and two of this trilogy, I already got a taste of Jase (and it was a taste that left me wanting more). Strong, loyal and responsible, he's always been the one his friends and pack could rely on but what I found most intriguing about Jase is that he is so much more than this. His well polished look hides a man I wasn't expecting and watching it be revealed had me glued to the page. His struggles with alcohol addiction and coming to terms with an "unconventional" future, as well as the demons of the past took the story in a direction I wasn't expecting but I loved every minute of it.
When his mate's scent hits him in a bar he goes on a hunt to find her...only to find its a HIM. Oli's watched his mate scour the room for his "female" mate so it's no surprise that their first meeting doesn't go well. Oli is the type of guy who finds pleasure with all genders, so the fact that his mate is a male doesn't phase him. But his mate's reaction does. Oli has battled his demons and won, but it doesn't mean they didn't leave scars and scabs...and Jase 's reaction just reopened them.
But despite it all, neither one can deny the pull of their mate. Their attraction and chemistry with each other was undeniable and the smexy time was incredibly hot 🥵. Their journey to a HEA isn't an easy or "conventional" one but I loved seeing them not only accept their future together, but embrace and love it for the beautiful future it was.
Oh my goodness! Mia Fury has definitely outdone herself with Jase and Oli!
Jase, the Beta of The Wiltshire pack, struggling with addiction leads him down a path that only his fated mate(s) can help dig him out from. Oli has an ego bigger then the pack itself. But the love they feel for each other and another pulls you into their world. Making you feel as if you are right there with them. A part of the pack, following along with every heart break, happy moment and more!
This book was not what I expected. After reading book one in the series, I loved it so much, I “one-clicked” the other two immediately without even reading the blurbs. So, imagine my surprise when I found out “Jase” was a MM story. Honestly, I’ve never read one before and never planned to because it isn’t my cup of tea. But after reading the first two books in the series and falling for Jase, I knew I had to find out what happened to him!
I have to say, the author handled the story well. It was interesting watching both Jase and Oli experience moments of confidence, as well as bouts of self-doubt. It gave them depth and made both likable and sympathetic.
To me, this was the most angsty book of the series, but it explained a lot about Jase. I also loved visiting with the prior characters and finding out how the series wrapped up and ended for all of them. Great series if you like wolf shifters, interesting characters, and heat!
I absolutely adore Jase and Oil. It was so nerve wracking but so beautiful in all the chaos that was their story. I am so sad that this was the last in the trilogy because I didn't want to leave this universe. All of the characters are so intriguing in their own way
