Got this for free on a “Stuff your Kindle Day” and was pleasantly surprised with how much plot there was. The characters were well detailed for it being such a short read. It was spicy, wholesome, and cutting ties with toxic family, all the while starting a throuple in a friends to lovers way.

I received this book through a Stuff Your Kindle day event. It was the first book I've read through Stuff Your Kindle actually. Not going too lie, the book had more plot than I expected going on, but I thoroughly enjoyed the plot parts! I loved the character building and thought the plot drama was interesting. And the spice was solid. But, I found myself wishing there was more to the story and that it ended short when there were more loose ends to be tied up. Having no clear idea of what will happen with Reggie and her mother felt a little underwhleming. I also noticed a lot of typos and errors throughout which were distracting at times.

Best friends to lovers

I enjoyed how Brad and Cliff were there for me Reggie when she had to deal with her family. I only wished there was more romantic chemistry between the three. It felt like best friends that had sex and nothing more.
