It's never a typical day at the office for Envy Saint-Claire. Working for the All Trades temp agency, every day she's someone else - sitting at someone else's desk, drinking someone else's coffee, talking to someone else's friends, doing someone else's job, living someone else's life. But only for a day. Everything in Envy's life is temporary, and that's just how she likes it.
I wanted to like this one a lot more than I actually did -- the premise of the first story is clever, but ultimately underdeveloped, while the later stories seem to lack focus and feel disconnected. Envy Saint-Clair as a character is more interesting and feels like someone readers would like to know more about (especially her relationship with her imaginary friend Sympathy!), with a perspective that could offer valuable insights into the crazy world of work, but unfortunately this series never quite goes there, and as a result, feels lackluster.
