Started out strong. Great set-up, interesting setting. I think I'd like to get to know the characters from the earlier books in the series. The last half of the book seemed rushed, less filled-out than the first, abrupt changes in motivation for the characters. Overall a pleasant, escapist read.

This book was very disappointing. It was good in the beginning and then got progressively worse. The last few chapters made it so I can't even give it 2 stars. The events that happened left me feeling, "Really, like that would truly happen?"

Another good book written by Lois Richer...I will keep reading more of her books. A nice love story that is inspirational. Love Inspired books are the best!!
