Praise for The Lady's

***** This was a delightful story! There were two separate romances going on. The author did an excellent job of with the main characters’ inner dialogue. She didn’t bore us with excessive and repetitive inner dialogue. Everything was well balanced, and the story was intriguing. I can’t wait for the next story.

***** What a fantastic story. Almost too unbelievable to be true. Keeps you on the end of your seat from the beginning. Romantic to the bone….

***** I lost my sleep to read till the end! This story has it all!. Engaging characters, an easy flowing plot, and a great group of supporting characters that helps the couple to reach their HEA. I have a hunch that this is part of a series, as two characters may have their own story! A true love story!

***** I love this book! I know you will love it too. Finch writes marvelous stories! I always love her stories.

***** What a lovely story! Really good book, totally enjoyed reading it! Preordered the other stories already!

Fanny Finch was born in United Kingdom but moved to Denver, Colorado when she was very young. She attended Washington University where she studied for several years and lives with her husband and their bulldog.

Upon leaving university, Fanny found a job as a proof reader for a small press. There, she honed her skills and also met and worked with author Abby Ayles, helping to polish her books to perfection.

But she is also an author in her own right and is working hard to become recognized as such as she starts to publish her own novels through her website.

Her genre is in the Historical Regency Romance category and if you like your reading material to be emotionally clean then you will be undoubtedly thrilled by the characters and scenarios Fanny develops.

Friend's and Mysteries

Fanny Finch creates such interesting characters leaving enough details to create a mystery. As Clara's childhood friend returns after being away on the continent, they resume their friendship, while the other ladies of the ton seek him for courtship and marriage. Jealousy rears it's ugly head.

Nice Story

It is understanding how many women with natural healing abilities and Botany experience in the 1800 England UK had to hide their knowledge from the public to avoid being accused of being a witch. This is a very interesting story to read, it brings the healing abilities of Annabelle to a Marques with breathing difficulties, possible asthma, and teach him how to use herbs and other natural medicine so he can breath better. In the end, after some confusing gossip has been ironed out, they declare love for each other. A great book to read, but I did miss an epilogue on the story, even if other books follow that one!

Lady Clara is the daughter of a Duke. She lacks self confidence and thinks she is not as beautiful as the other ladies.
Horatio Fitzroy has been away on the continent. He has now come back and has a reputation as a bit of a rogue.

Clara and Horatio were good friends when they were growing up. She has feelings for him but she does not think he feels the same way.

This is a lovely story with two separate romances going on.

There were times I felt the story was a bit slow but on the whole I enjoyed it.

I received a free copy of this book and freely and honestly leave my review.

This is a clean read, it is longer than I thought it could be, but no over repeating or re-living. It does show us the personalities of the characters, good or not and what or rather the choices they must make individually and together, if they want a happily ever after. Will Horacio and Clara find what they want deep down?

In chapter 2, " Mr. Pilkington, her father said, bowing in greeting to their guest." should be host. Next line is "Thank you for our invitation this evening.
Really impressed by main charchter's comparative/ figurative language like in chapter 2: dancers who trotted like deer at one end of the room, toward the tsbles.

The Lady's Spell by Fanny Finch is a well-written clean historical romance. It is an engaging story with many misunderstandings. The story is about a beautiful young woman who meets her close childhood friend again now that they are both adults. The story gives you a glimpse behind the scenes of their lives. A fine book to read.

What a wonderful book and to think I started not to read it. First time I have read one of Ms Finch’s books but I have already ordered the second one in this series. This has a great story and beautiful characters but the best part is it is a different kind of story. Bet you will love it ❤️♥️❤️

What a Lady Does for Love

A sweet story of childhood friends who fall in love but can't tell each other about their feelings for fear of rejection.

Watch the proof reading.

They were friends as children, but what will they be as adults? The hero went away for a few years and now is back with a reputation of a rogue. The heroine lacks some self confidence as she tries to figure out if they can be more. There is some great supporting characters that help with the twists and turns and misunderstandings of this relationship. It was a nice sweet read. I was given an ARC for an honest review.
