This is a must-read for all martial arts instructors who teach children! Kelly Muir addresses many "hot-button" issues in the martial arts industry, like whether or not first degree black belts should be awarded to children, how & when students should receive praise, and how to create a disciplined atmosphere on the mats. Using her own school & meticulously developed curriculum as an example, she offers a treasure trove of ideas and concepts any instructor can start using right away to improve the quality of children's martial art programs.
