Paige Slater has finally put herself back together after suffering a nervous breakdown following the worst experience of her life, which ended in the death of someone she loved. She has a good job, a nice little cottage and has started dating again.
However, when she starts to experience disturbing dreams involving Glenn Corrigan, her best friend’s husband, she fears she’s suffering a relapse. Glenn is a local celebrity, the charismatic heart surgeon but in her dreams he’s terrifying.
When one of her friends dies at the hands of a serial killer operating in the area, the dreams intensify to the point where Paige finds it difficult to discern fantasy from reality. Is her worst fear being realised and she’s experiencing another breakdown, or is there a more sinister reason behind these frightening nightmares?

Author of over seventy books so far. Living on the beautiful west coast of Scotland with my husband, twin daughters and a cat called Mavis, although I am originally from Lancashire in the north of England.
My tastes in all things are eclectic, which extends to my writing. Although I primarily write crime books - especially gangland thrillers - I also write gothic historical romance and fantasy. I publish on Amazon Kindle and some of my novels are available in paperback too. I also have a traditional publishing contract with Boldwood Books.
When I'm not writing - which isn't very often - I enjoy reading Daphne Du Maurier, Edgar Allan Poe, Shirley Jackson, MR James and the Brontes, among many others. I also enjoy swimming, walking and spending time with my family.
I loved this book so much,I have read a lot of your books & I love the way the characters come to life.I won't ruin it for anyone by letting away what happens. If other readers pick this up i hope they'll love it as much as I did.I have read this in 1 sitting ,,I better go & try to get a wee sleep as I will be up soon⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Started well but by half way through I had to remind myself the story was fiction. I finished the book but found some parts far fetched and a bit silly.
