After bringing unwanted attention to Isis’ escort business, Angel’s #1 status has been revoked and given to her arch rival, Miley. As punishment, Angel’s money is not like it used to be and neither are the men she’s accustomed to escorting. To make matters even worse, Corbin, the man who caused Angel’s demotion, is seeking comfort and pleasure with Miley. In Angel’s eyes, Corbin is her orgasmic god and he belongs to her. Angel ignores Isis’ threats of getting rid of her for good due to Angel’s previous actions of stalking Corbin, but Corbin has what Angel’s body wants and needs. Angel will stop at nothing to get him back even if it means shunning the men whom she continues to see behind Isis’ back. One of Angel’s main clients, Logan , refuses to be placed on the backburner. He desires Angel in more ways than one. Will Angel give in to love or will she allow lust to be her demise?
Another outstanding short read. Angel sure was crazy in this book I guess messing with Isis wasn't enough to keep her down but she sure kept going with her stalker attitude. Miley sure was a thorn in her side but the surprise ending is what caught me. Who is with who and who is related to who. So was the laugh on Angel or the rest of the gang. Well done Ms. Pennington looking forward to lots more read from you. Thanks
Angel returns the same way we left her...psychotic. The ride she took me on was extremely emotional. Sometimes I was rooting for her, other times I was shaking my head, many times I couldn't but could believe the ish she did, but she had me rolling. The sex between her and Corbin...I'm not ashamed to say that it was HOT! It was like...Ike and Tina but in a sensual sense. I was here for it. The ending was unpredictable and I'm glad the author closed out the story to where she would never have to write a part 3 or if she wants to revisit she could. Can't wait for Carla's next offering.
The only thing that would have made this book better is Angel getting over Corbin with Logan without the help of Isis and Miley. I'm really liking the authors style. Her stories are edgy and suspenseful. More, please.
