A sad litany of bad-faith bargaining and coordinated exploitation on the part of forestry and oil corporations with help from both the Federal and provincial governments. No wonder the FN are losing patience as we try to grind them down with long and expensive court cases with all of the resources of Canada on our side. Having said that, some of that is also due to the hundreds of different tribes and bands that sometimes conflict with each other as in a case where the Mississauga got land and then sold it but the Algonquin were not aware and had some ownership interests in the land as well.
