But George Thorne is still determined to attack the clinic and anything could happen. Everything Tegan does incites Harry’s anger. And when he rips her shirt off to check she’s not wearing a wire, Tegan attacks him back. Jayden tries to be the voice of reason between the wolf and the bear, but he wants her too, yet Harry’s his Dom and his friend. The passion between these three is as incendiary and explosive as anything that might happen to the clinic. ** A Siren Erotic Romance
Cara Adams adores erotic romance, especially ménage, BDSM, and shape-shifters. One day someone said to her, “Why don’t you put them all in one book?”
So she did.
Cara loves sunshine, heat, and hot summer days, so she’s not sure why she spends so much time in Ohio every year. Her plan is to become rich and live on a beach somewhere, likely Hawaii.
Reading is her life-long all-time favorite thing to do, and she loves catching glimpses of previous heroes and heroines later on in a series of books, which is likely why she is writing a long-running series herself.
I was really excited for this story so it was kind of a letdown. Harry acted like a big jerk for most of the book. Really disappointing because I liked him in the other books and always love bear shifters.
Jayden was kinda dull as well. He tried to play peace maker but was kind of one dimensional. Perhaps is he were all Alpha Dom too it would have worked.
I really liked Tegan, she is a great strong independent woman. I sort of felt she was ripped off in the hero department.
The steam was super hot, especially their first joining. Kind of a weird situation. The BDSM scenes were nice as well.
This book felt very dull to me, even with the whole action scene. It felt like the relationship as lacking emotion and even when the characters thought about it they seemed clinical.
Not sure how I feel about the resolution. It was really missing the why for the whole hate and obsession. There also seemed to be more to George's appearance than normal, otherwise why mention it every time he is seen.
This story was a bit of a bummer. I hope the next book shed more light.
