Lehanan Aida is the name behind an international artist focused in illustration and graphic novel. She was born in Spain and she moved to Italy in 2017.
Her work has been published in several countries like USA, France, Germany, Philippines, and recently in Spain.
Her art is a creative mixing between manga and semi-realistic style where expressions, human anatomy and details are the prevalent subjects. She’s currently working on her already debut webcomic series, Arena.
As you can see from the cover- the artwork is classical, absolutely beautiful. It fits the story perfectly. This is an interesting beginning of the story, let's see how it goes.
Vaya, me gustó bastante.
This was such a fantastic reading. I'm not that used to read mangas anymore, but I'm glad I started with this one, because the drawing style is just amazing and the plot is so interesting. The only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars it's because, being the history nerd I am, some things clashed with me (like the setting of the fight, or the dialogue), but I don't think it's that bad documented either.
So excited about the next chapter! I am dying to see how the relationship between Athal and Claudius developes, because I'm sure there will be a huge amount of fighting; Athal won't be so easily tamed!
100% recommended to those who love yaoi and Rome like me!
PS: I read it online here, as the author decided to post an outdated version (she has redrawn the whole chapter). Chapter two will also be online, so it's really handy! I can't wait to get my hands on the new version though, the style has improved a lot!
I wish I had known about this fantastic series sooner! I've been wallowing in serious Spartacus withdrawal for far too long. This is deliciously right up my alley. The artwork and dialogue are exquisite. Historical fiction with a dash of all things sexually fluid and ambiguous? HELL YES. I'll be keeping an eye out for further developments in this one, fer sure~~ >3
