This didn't cut the mustard for me, even as a short story. It was an unbelievable circumstance and even the sex had no passion or believability, in my opinion. Sorry.

I enjoyed the main heroine being something bigger than a secretary or an encounter on the street. She was a colleague and seen as an equal. As for the rest of the story...I say it's mediocre at best.

I give this book 3 1/2 stars....Now this book is a very short read only 19 pages but it is a great introduction to the series. Kelly has been cheated on by her boyfriend with her best friend. And of course he blames her for everything. He can never get her off except for one time. And she should not have good looking friends that he would be attracted to. She kicks his ass out and decides to swear off men completely. She realizes that she is not to upset that they broke up and that bothers her. She meets her new boss Michael and can't stop thinking of him. He is a in charge type guy that she does not need in her life. Their friendly relationship grows while working together. Till one night they go to dinner and he gives her what they both want....

It's short but good enough and leaves me wanting more.

Cannot wait for part 2. It was hot and sexy plus we got a little backstory with characters and not just sex sex sex.

Kelly Miller worked hard to earn her degree, advance in her job and came in early and worked late most days to get her job done. Michael Adams the new boss for her department had a similar background and worked the same type of hours Kelly did. He noticed her dedication and loyalty to the company. The story could use an edit but the character build up was good, the plot was reasonable and it is another book by installments...

This was a great read that pulled me in right away and kept me turning the pages to find out would happen next. And I can't wait to see what happens next in the rest of this series.
For this short, the storyline was thought out extremely well. The writing was realistic and made the read (at least for me) feel like I was inside this story.
I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this book other than it needs some editing done. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes some domination with their steamy romance. I give the a 4 out of 5

I like the concept of the short story. I think that Kelly's tales of the other woman were quite funny. Especially the old lady who yells but never calls the cops, and princess the cat she inherited. It is just another work/office romance that somehow I totally missed it turned into BDSM. Not quite what I thought. 2 stars for good writing and for a quick read. I probably won't bother with the rest.

Okay again not a story... It just gets going and then this cuts off, yes I know it is a series but some sort of ending would be nice. It does seem to be a patten with this author.
