He acknowledges the fact that country dance is a living folk art. He suggests you get out on the floor and try it. He presents a history of country dancing and stories of dancers from coast to coast. He offers instructions on just about every kind of country dance you can imagine, from contra-dancing, mountain dancing, and Western square dancing.
