Chloe Taylor learned to sew when she was a little girl. She loved watching her Grandmother Louise turn a scrap of blue fabric into a simple-but-fabulous dress, nightgown, or even a bathing suit in an instant. It was magical! Now that she’s grown up, she still loves fashion: It’s like art that you can wear. Chloe has written more than thirty books for children and lives, writes, and window shops in New York City.

Zoey has a blog about sewing and is getting famous. Her aunt asks her if she can take care of her dog, Zoey and her brother love him. Soon Zoey gets the idea of creating clothes for dogs. She creates a site where she sells them and reaches her goal in no time. When she goes to take her aunt's dog on a walk everyone has Zoey's designed clothes. It is becoming a lot of work, will Zoey manage to keep up with all her work?
I loved this book because I love these series and I love sewing. I used to go to a sewing club. It is a book really fun and relaxing to read. I would recommend this book to girls who like designing their clothes.

This book is a realistic book meant for girls ranging in age 7-10. This book is about a girl named Zoey who makes clothes for her aunts dog and people are starting to want to buy them. While Zoey doesn't want to ask her dad for anymore money for supplies and materials her and her brother decide to make a fundraiser online for people to help her start her own dog clothing business. But than soon she gets some devastating news that her aunts dog has passed away. While Zoey has other issues going on as well she tries to manage a way to stay calm. That's all I'm giving away you must read the book to find out what happens. I rate this book with 4 stars. I did so because while it was a great book for young readers I caught myself getting bored with the text at times. I say this because I felt almost as I knew everything that was going to happen the farther I read and it did indeed happen. This book does however teach children at a young age that things don't always go as you hoped them to but you just have to make the best out of it. It also teaches children that they shouldn't ever just expect to have things handed to them. Sometimes they should go out and try to work for what they want because in the end that's going to be how it ends up. I do believe this book is appealing to young girls because it shoes them as long as they keep their mind on something than they can do it.

Zoey is running out of her prize money and needs to think of a way to make more money so she can buy more fabric. When her Aunt Lulu drops off Draper the dog she has a brainstorm. She makes an adogable doggie outfit for Draper and decides to start a business selling it. Her brother and dad help her set up a funding project online and things go great. Zoey is also dealing with the fact that her dad has started dating and one of her friends is feeling left out. When Draper dies things seem awfully sad, but Lulu gets a new dog Buttons who everyone loves just like Draper.

This was a cute if not stellar book. Zoey goes through a lot of things that other kids her age have to deal with. Of course most middle schoolers don't start their own businesses or win national contests. I liked the dog part of the story a lot, but the rest of it seemed to get a bit much for me; or maybe just not enough.
