Tricked is connected to Auctioned, so I recommend reading it first before this one.

Jaqen thinks he got a decent job but ends up being trapped working in Vaharis 6 as little more than a slave. His close friend Dayn is able to get Calor’s friend, Bash, to arrange a rescue. Bash is a Cecaelia shifter and has an instant attraction to Jaqen. He thinks it might be due to his upcoming heat and that they might be mates. Jaqen is also drawn to Bash and wants to have sex with him, especially when he discovers he’s an octoshifter. However, Bash does not want to have sex to muddle things and wants to know if there could be something more. However, when his plan to handle his intense heat does not work out…well Jaqen gets his wish.

When I read Auctioned, I hoped we would get Jaqen’s story, and we did! This story was on the insta lust side. I love the unique um shifter anatomy and the tentacles...all those tentacles, it was sexy, it was hot, and I loved it. The way the suckers were used as well…*chef kiss*

“Bash let a few suckers latch on within Jaqen, and then he thrust a little to let the omega feel them pulling on his sweet, hot channel.”

This was a short book so their relationship does develop fast, but they acknowledge that while they’re sexually compatible and attracted to one another, they’re not at the love stage yet, BUT when they do get there, it’s so sweet.

“Do I like the man who put his own desires aside and has spent every moment since we met trying to take care of me? To protect me, even from himself?” He kissed Bash’s chin. “You’re my hero, quite literally.

“How about me telling you that I love you? That I want you to marry me before my next heat and then spend our honeymoon on a little island nearby while I keep trying to breed you?”

Overall I enjoyed it and no surprise since I loved every book in this series so far. Also the tentacles, ABO, shifted sex and mpreg was a huge plus for me!

This is a really interesting series.
If you're not so much into plot, but more into smut, or alien smut, or let's just call it alien porn, this is your deal right here.

I'm going to rate it with 3.5⭐ for me personally, because it's short and I'd need about 50 pages more, but for someone not needing that much story development, this is for sure a 4⭐ book, but you'll definitely have to read the previous installment before that.

If you've read the previous book where Calor buys Dayn and they fall in love, you were probably wondering what will happen to Dayn's friend Jaqen.

Bash, Calor's friend, was the aquatic tentacle shifter who went to find Jaqen and as soon as he finds him working on Varharis 6, he thinks Jaqen is his mate.

Now, have in mind that all of the couples so far came together on an uneven ground, where one was in a position of money and power and the other was a prisoner and bought off.

That is not the case in this book.
Here Bash rescues Jaqen from prison because he was paid to do so and Jaqen is a free man.

Bash and Jaqen are very much equals and Jaqen is just hungry for Bash, he wants to have sex with him yesterday already, and Bash is the one who's holding back and giving Jaqen space, so that was pretty refreshing.

Tentacle porn.

Yes, because that's exactly what this is, tentacle porn . No particular story going on, just them having sex in 1001 ways.

Even though there's emphasis on the tentacles, I was glad the author included sex in human form aswell this time, she also gave other variations, like human+shifted AND this couple was vers!

So quite a few positive novelties here, thank you.

I'd like to read much more about Jaqen being the top though, I think he was a natural and even though the book states he's more a submissive partner, I really didn't think so. That one time they had sex in human form was 🔥.

Calor, Dayn, Bash and Jaqen reunite and Bash and Jaqen get married. Insta-lust coupled with marriage, but love definitely comes too.
They're just so obsessed with each other's dicks, that they're saving their iloveyou's until the very end.

They have a 3-month fuck-fest honeymoon on a deserted tropical island 😏 and eventually Jaqen does get pregnant.


So i'll say this has been a really sweet, hot addition to the series. 😘

Enjoyable

I love the Imprisoned series by Victoria Vallo. And the eleventh book of the series, Tricked, didn't disappoint me at all.
