I enjoyed this book. It is very calming and gives you hope. I like the idea of interconnection of health, mind, and body. Dr Chopra explains Ayurveda body types, how to restore the balance of each type, why is important to eat mostly fruits and vegetables, meditate, and how to learn to let go, stop being defensive, and how to stop classifying things as good or bad. Some of his studies, I read also in different books about aging and free radicals.
Prepare to have your world turned around! The amazing studies that Deepak Chopra shares in this book on CD can’t help but change the way you see the world. For example, Chopra shares a study in which bunnies were fed a high cholesterol diet. All of the poor little bunnies ended up with high cholesterol, clogged arteries, the works.Except for one small group. They were all fed the same diet; they all lived in the same cages and laboratory. The scientist racked their brains for the difference. Then they noticed how this small group was handled by it’s technician. He gave each bunny a hug, a kiss and gentle strokes before he fed them their artery clogging meals. The “loving” made them completely IMMUNE to the effects of the food. Let me repeat that, the tender caresses prevented ANY heart disease. Give this book a listen. It will change the way you look at your body, mind and health. Enjoy!

Some of it was a bit too kooky, but I enjoyed listening to all of it. It made me feel happy and light and hopeful about life, and about life in my body. I also took some tips that I think will be helpful, but I could've gotten the information from just a magazine article. All in all, I liked it.
É um must. Convenceu-me a meditar.
Time is a measure of experience. There is no research to prove the existence of time. It is an internal experience of interpretation of how they perceive the time. When you tries to beat the time, the experience of body changes. Time is just an idea and there is pattern to how the mind perceive intelligence to every single being on Earth.
I would say, this audiobook surprised me with its depth of knowledge and exposure of the knowledge.
Magnífico. Para escuchar una y otra vez. Para recordar que somos posibilidades infinitas. Para recordar que nuestro cuerpo es la expresión del pensamiento. Para vivir en plena libertad... Gracias, Deepak
Nice content, very well narrated, and insightful. Dr.Deepak has distilled the essence of Ayurveda in the book, a good balance between mind, body, and spirituality. Thoroughly enjoyed the book!
this was a pretty good program, a bit of a rehash of his earlier and prior books, but a good reminder with some further insights into his teachings and work. Something really true about the idea of health, mind and the body all being inter-connected, Deepak really goes to explain the energies and forces behind it

I really enjoyed this book. Got introduced to Dr. Chopra through Oprah Winfrey, and have learned a lot about his studies and how the Indian Culture teaches us. I've developed a lot of interest with India through books, movies, lectures, etc. This is a great example of what we can learn. I've found that Chopra is able to teach about Eastern vs. Western culture. It really is good. I will read more of his. It is very good.
A powerful introduction into the workings of quantum physics, ayurveda and the human body. His discussion outlines the various factors that make up the human body and psyche with everyday suggestions for improvement.
I took a class about alternative medicine in college that I loved. In the class we learned about and discussed Ayurveda, but after reading Chopra, I realize I knew very little about it then, and feel like I've only scratched the surface now. Very interesting.
