Becky witnessed her parent's murder and after her testimony put two of the three men involved behind bars, she was put in the Witness Protection Program. After having her name changed four times in the same amount of months and after almost losing her life on three different occasions, she made her own plans for her safety. She was being sent to another state, under another name but took it upon herself to make a detour in Denver. This is the story of how she planned to survive on her own and how she got help from an unlikely source. Would she be kept safe or endanger not only herself but the man she came to care so much for in her new town?
This could have been an interesting story but it wasn't. There was very little back story, stilted dialogue and slightly boring. I felt absolutely no connection to the characters or story. The writing was immature and unbelievable. I cannot recommend it to any one at this time.
On the run was a story that kept you breathe on hold as you read it unsure if Becky was gone to live or die .I will be reading this book again and again later on.
