Monkeys!

Children's book with very up close and personal photos of every kind of monkey you can imagine, plus those you probably didn't know existed! Some are humorous, others could be a bit off-putting for children two and under. The text is very straight forward and factual, making it pretty dry for the younger set but helpful for kids about second grade and older who can retain the information and use it for writing school reports. I would recommend this book for four to five year olds and up. Three out of five stars.

This book does everything it claims to do, great colourful photos of each type of monkey featured.
Kids will be amazed, as I was, at their variety.
Simple wording, as expected in a Learn to Read book but an adult may need to assist.
It is, however, worth noting that three of the animals featured are, in fact, Ape's which do not have tails.
