Yikes this was bad. Ugh I hate to give bad reviews because I know how much the author worked on creating it but man was this bad. The concept was good and it could have been an amazing book but the writing style just did not flow. I'm not sure where the author is from and maybe that's why it didn't flow for me. The wording and phrases and the way a sentence started out just threw me through a huge loop and even thought I tried to push it back I just kept getting hung up on the writing style and eventually had to stop reading. I skimmed through just o see the ending you know and it needed where most books always end which of course if fine. But I just really wished I could've gotten into it.

I was duped by the cover and description. Don't get me wrong the book started off great. Each character had an interesting back story and I saw great potential in their budding romance. But when the villain has a change of heart; it was just all down hill.

Not GREAT!!!. . . . .Not BAD!!!. . . . . Just OKAY!!!!!!

I read a lot of books for the most part I read something with a lot of action/adventure, occasionally romance, but when a friend recommended this book I had my doubts right from the start. I don’t read a lot of romance books but when I do nothing this racy.

The book story revolves around Devlin a MMA fighter and Ella diner waitress turned ring girl. As the book opens Devlin is having recurring bad dreams so getting full nights rest is next to impossible, Ella has received some bad news and is in need of some quick money after losing work hours at the diner.

Devlin tries to turn on the mister nice guy charm to conquer Ella, thinking she is easy prey, but he is sadly mistaken. I won’t give away too much more of the story to ruin it for those haven’t read it yet.

The story is well written and the characters come to life on the page before you in great detail. The story overall is well crafted and well worth the read for the romance story lover out there.

Jessica has quickly become one of my favorite authors.

Most of her books have a paranormal twist to them, but this one is just a steamy romance. In a way, that is good though, because it is more realistic. It's more plausible. It's easier to relate to.

All of her books have some type of love triangle going on. Usually there is some serious hostility and sometimes even violence between the two competing love interests. In this one, there is more of a love square. There are apposing love interests for both the leading man and lady. It makes for a lot of juicy drama.

I love how Ella seems to be such a sweet and innocent little thing until she starts her new job. Then her inner bad girl gets loose. And at the same time, Dev's bad boy attitude gets turned around when he meets her. They seem to bring each other into a harmonious state between good and bad.

White and Black mixed make gray, you know. All Fifty Shades of it!

If you want a fun sexy book then choose this book.

I like a good MMA book with HOT HOT FIGHTERS and Devin Black scores high on all points. He is the King of the Cage and apparently the bedroom too. He likes to keep his women on a revolving door..that is until he meets Ella White.

Ella White is the bread winner of her family. Her dad has suffered from a serious injury and she has to take care of her little brother as well...she really steps up to the plate. All though she can LET OFF SOME STEAM TOO! But after her hours are cut at the diner she works at she needs another way to earn money. She lands a job as the Ring Girl at the Fight Club Devin works at and WHAM the SPARKS FLY!

What happens next is just great! Does she fall for Devins good looks and sex appeal? Or does she keep him at arms length? Does Devin fall for Ella?

It is a good book with lots of sexy tension, and love, just wish it was longer.

3.5 stars. I apologize for the comment if I offend anyone with my review. Here goes: I must admit the cover was lovely, but WTF, the stupid drama that fortell jealousy of envy, dayum right stupid. That girl, wanted what she can have. Devlin was a sexy, gorgeous down to earth that wanted to be loved and happy with Elle. Why I gave 3.5 stars for the Cover of course.

The book was more of a 2.5 star but I round up.
The story itself had potential but I felt characters needed to be developed a whole lot more in order to connect with them, also the pacing of the story didn't work for me.
