Caring for Calum and his newly acquired demon soul is harder than Annette Anderson ever imagined. His vicious temper and uncontrolled desires are exhausting. Both are suffering under the pressure of their new roles as 'Master' and 'Inferior'.

Annette seeks out her old business partner and is set to work running security for the Demon owned club, The Red Ribbon. It seems like the escape she needs until a corpse is found by her team, murdered in a way neither she or Lilith has seen before. The murder stirs up a face from the past and a world of pain, danger and maybe even war awaits her. Annette calls on all her bravery and strength to track the killer, even if its ends up destroying her.

My name is Victoria Ruth Limbert, born and raised in Lincoln, England and the youngest of 5 (the hardships)

I am the Author of my debut novel Lilith, the first book in a series I am writing called The Twin Soul Novels. The books follow Annette and the She-Demon Lilith as they work together, on a shaky truce, to survive the human and the demon worlds.

I began writing when I was very young. I saw how my dad would become completely immersed in a book (usually Stephen King, David Gemmel or Dean Koontz)to the point where my mum would have to shout him at least five times before he answered. I knew I wanted to write stories others could become lost in, I wanted to make them forget the people around them, the time and their worries. A place to escape.

As a child I wrote a 70 page story about demons, vampires and other dark things no stable child should write about. As an adult, I took that child's story and turned it in to a full length novel. Now I work towards my dream and hope people enjoy my books. Be aware that some themes are incredibly dark, disturbing and for adult eyes only.

Fateless is the sequel to Lilith, and an absolute must-read for anyone who enjoys paranormal suspense, or anyone who just enjoys to read powerfully written novels. The book takes up where the first book finished, and from the first page has the reader gripped in a thrilling tale of everything that scares us as humans. Wonderfully written, with characters that are so lifelike you'll be tempted to look over your shoulder, and descriptive settings that have the reader wondering if the author has actually visited these other worlds.

I don't hesitate to recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a well-written, fast-paced, thrilling story.

I recently finished Victoria Limbert’s Fateless, the sequel to her fantasy debut Lilith.
The plot begins intriguingly enough with Annette running security at the Red Ribbon, a night club designed to bridge the human and demon world. Of course, the humans are blissfully unaware of the hellish denizens mingling with them. During Red Ribbon’s opening night, a demon host riddled with molten silver is left outside the club. The only lead Annette has to go on is that something neither human nor demon was witnessed before the murder, just an enigmatic shadow.
The descriptions flow both pleasantly and vividly, painting pictures in the imagination that lead the reader on, leaving me anxious to know what happens next.
I was glad to see Detective Michael Daltry return to the sequel. It’s fascinating to watch Annette’s relationship with Michael unfold, given that he is a human and she harbors the soul of a demon. Furthermore, she is forbidden to fall in love with him or risk a swift death. As I read Fateless, I had no idea what would become of them--whether Annette would choose the demon Rowan as her romantic partner, or whether she would risk certain punishment and fall in love with Michael.
Without spoiling anything, I was hardly expecting what happened between the three parties involved. It’s riveting to watch one relationship unravel as another grows stronger.
I enjoyed exploring Annette’s past and learning how she came to acquire her demonic powers. Fateless also elaborates on the morbid things hinted at in her past, for example, how she slaughtered her family in a fit of demonic rage.
In fact, this terrible crime plays heavily into the plot of Fateless, but I don’t want to risk spoiling it for other readers, so that’s as much as I can say! I was quite fond of the chilling atmosphere and imagery conjured in Fateless as well.
I would have liked to learn more about what happened to Michael in the end, but I imagine that will be explored further in the next novel. After reading the shocking ending, I truly can’t wait to see what is in store for Annette and Lilith!

Picks up from the first book, and goes from strength to strength

In part two of the story of Annette Anderson, we follow her as she deals with the recent changes in her life following the events from the first book, as well as unfolding some of the Mysteries which were introduced in the first book. Learning about the tragedies from her early life.

As well as the core characters as introduced within Lilith, Limbert adds to the ensemble a set of additional characters which are believable and which really aid the progression of the story as events unfold. One character in particular surprised me.

If you have Lilith on your reading list, I urge you to read it, and then proceed straight away to read Fateless.

I look forward to the 3rd installment.

I very much enjoyed writing Fateless, though to be honest I am nervous about this one. I spent 10 years of my life perfecting Lilith, Book 1, and even after publishing it I still had much to learn about writing, editing and other aspects of being an Indie author.

I spent just over a year on this book and hope the education I have received during that time comes across in this book. I feel I have grown as a person during this process and that is thanks to friends, fellow authors and amazing family.

I hope you enjoy Fateless and feel free to let me know what you think.

Thank you awesome people!
