I Made You My First is the first romance novel I've read in a very long time, however this writer could make a convert out of me. It helps to believe in love at first sight, as I do, so was pulled into the story with ease. A strong theme which I think important is trusting in yourself which leads to trusting others.
There is plot, action (some quite steamy), well written dialog, characters you care about, and just plain good writing. If you are a fan of the genre, I suggest you put this one at the top of your reading list.

I had a hard time putting it down! Swept along on the adventure of love at first sight and taking risks. Twists and turns to hold my attention with some things left for future exploration from the writer the book is a complete story in itself and reminds us how quickly life does progress. Reminding us sometimes a risk is a good thing and some things are not as they seem. Planning to read more from this author!!

I loved this book. From the feel of the cover to the double spacing of the pages. The story was an awesome one. Everyone should have that kind of love in their life.

I Made You First tells a feel-good story of ,Irish and Jurnee´s burgeoning relationship, against a backdrop of tragedy and dysfunctional family relationships. Ciara Threadgoode weaves a finely balanced plot full of intrigue, angst, romance and eroticism, in all the right proportions.
Her American style of writing add authenticity and roots I Made You First firmly in California. However, for readers from across the pond it provokes some interesting imagery. Such as what is a wife beater? Is dish water blonde a compliment? A commode in British English is a chair that doubles up as a toilet, and as for piddling around the house - well the mind boggles! The odd typo and formatting errors don´t detract from the overall quality of writing. I look forward to reading more of Ciara´s work.
