This book is a sort of informational about the five members of One Direction. It talks about each boy individually. It also recaps what these young men have accomplished in the few years they've been a band. This book also attempt to show the reader what the life of One Direction is like. Though I enjoy each of the members distinct personalities, and a handful of their songs, I was not very interested in this book. I believe that may be because this book is directed for their younger fans. This book also focuses on more of the start of their career when their target audience was "tween" girls. They've since developed greatly, seeing as they're all in their 20's and wish to break free of the negative boy band stereotype they've been given.

Each member has a section of the book devoted to them. In this section, it talks about each of their personalities. It also shows their opinions on various things such as their clothing, actors and other basic questions.

There is no setting, seeing as this book is non-fiction.

There is no true theme. The entire book talks about the members and their lives after becoming a band.

I would not recommend this book to anyone my age or over. I may recommend it to middle school girls with an interest in the band.

1D was my favourite band during my teen years. I felt the need to go back a decade and remember those times after Liam Payne’s unexpected and tragic death. This book was first published in 2013 when One Direction was at the peak of their career which makes it even more special.

Truly a literary masterpiece, one of the best BOOKS I have ever read. The author brings us along on a magical Journey through the adolescent struggles of five young homosexuals with a dream.
