With all do respect I would just like to state for the record that this is not meant to bash the author in ANY way. I will provide my honest thoughts on what I read.
When I first finished this book I asked myself "How the heck do I review this with out spoilers?" So I decided to just talk around it.

This book was a crazy mixture of
The Lying Game(show with twins)
meets Pretty Little Liars(show/book features twins)
meets Ringer(show with twins)
meets Natural Born Killers(movie psycho path couple)
meets Single White Female(movie psychopath female)

In all honesty RED FLAGS WERE EVERY WHERE when I started.. I spent the first 15% of the books saying to myself
"Wait..can that really be done?"(me talking to..well...me in regards to some of the twins actions)
Then I answered my self with a resounding
I probably should have stopped reading it but I was curious about the ending so after the 50% mark I pretty much skimmed through to the end.
Not sure how to classify this book. I don’t think it’s for a reader who prefers their books to be close to reality that’s for damn sure… It seems to muddle reality and causes readers/me to question the plausibility of just about everything that happens.
To put it plainly this book was just unrealistic.
The unrealistic plot is just the tip of the iceberg. Other reasons this did not work for me include THE WRITING THE WRITING THE WRITING...
-The Dialogue
-The lack of descriptions
=THE WRITING
The dialogue between characters was bad, it felt amateur *cringes* I’m sorry this is just my thoughts…
The lack of descriptions sucked, which in turn failed to build a scene in my mind’s eye. Again this all goes back to THE WRITING. *sighs and hangs head*
The writing which OF COURSE coincides with the dialogue failed to connect me to the characters. On top of that I felt like the characters had no personality for me to grasp..meaning they were not well developed.
Its sad really because I think the concept had so much potential yet the execution just came up short.
NOTE: Just because this book did not work for me it does not mean I won’t try other books by this author because I’ve heard good things about her other books /series.

First time in a long time I've done this, I stopped reading this book and will not be trying again. I RARELY don't finish a book. I've struggled since the beginning of this book...right from the hero's name..."Stoshua" 'because Joshua was taken'....ewwwww! That was a bad omen in itself.
I know I'm in the minority here and maybe I just didn't like the writing style, but I found both the plot and prose juvenile at best, and as I'm not finishing this story I guess that says everything about how I felt about it at its worst.
The story is a "hamster wheel" of twelve-year-old indecision and vindictiveness. How could she—how couldn't she. I always did—she never. He lied, I hate him...oh but maybe I trust him and still love him. And the hamster spins around...
There is also NOTHING going on outside of the plot and counterplot of love, hate and scheming. No sub-plots, no peripheral/secondary characters or even descriptions/scene setting to give the story some texture and depth (again, of which there is none in the main story line.) Our heroine is supposed to be a brilliant over-achiever who gave up her normal teen-age life to excel in academics? There is no possibility in anyone's imagination that a woman with all the supposed scholastic and emotional virtues and maturity of Willow, our heroine, would be as vapid and just plain stupid as this girl.
I often say, and believe, that bad writing is totally overcome by a compelling story. That's the sad part of this. The plot is also diminished by poor grammar and a variety of forms of questionable sentence structure and word use. I was highlighting something that I either didn't understand, made no sense to me, or just sounded weird every couple of pages:
"Stiff erection" --- I hope so
"I sat up, letting my natural breasts free for him to see." ---as opposed to one saying my unnatural breasts"??
"It fit like a glove sliding the right amount of intensity to feel perfect." ---Huh? This is the description of the fit of his penis inside her.
"I filled with emotional bliss as I felt myself letting go." -orgasm...
"I cried all of the time, especially when the animal shelter commercials came on the television." ---our heroine is distraught about her messed up love life...
"I heard him telling her he loved her. He said she was the best he ever had. I wanted to kill them both." ---a ten-year-old's fiction writing at its finest.
"His desperate and selfish attempts to spend a weekend with me had panned out for a lifetime of happiness..." ---I would think this is maybe an attempt at sarcasm but taken in context with the surrounding verbiage that wouldn't be my assumption.
"He circled his own saliva around each tip and blew cold air on them." ---now that's an erotic description...
I really don't understand the comma positioning in the following examples because if you read them with the presumed pause indicated by a comma—well, you'll find out...
"Maybe, I too, had a vindictive side."
"When they called my name to go back, I had to meet with a counselor. It was good they had them there, for the girls who were unsure of what they wanted. They wanted all options to be weighed before we took that final step."
"Stosh tried to make me laugh, by attempting to eat using chopsticks."
"I climbed on top of him, straddling him like I was in position."
"Somehow, being there, was like the memory of my sister never existed."
"When she tried to scream, I put my hand over her mouth, so nobody could hear."
And then there's the plain wrong words...
"I text him my address, but he never text back."
"By the time I gotten decent"
"His lips were wet as he drug them against mine."
"...but all I wanted to do was sulk and stay held up in my apartment."
"Would she file or nails, or pounce all over his fine ass?"
"I found a video of him and that women he'd had the affair with."
"...all I want to do was sulk and stay held up in my apartment..."
"attending church with me on Sunday's."
I feel bad about writing such a scathing review...
I would certainly welcome any rebuttal—maybe someone could enlighten me to the style of this novel so I could get some enjoyment out of another attempt to read it?

Ok so I have to say that Jenn Foor truly outdid herself with this book. I am a HUGE fan of Jenn's books and I have to say this one was so different from anything she has written before. If you are looking for this book to be like her Mitchell Series or her Bank Shot Series, then I am here to tell you it is NOTHING like those books. She had me on pins and needles throughout the whole book. I really can't say much about this book because it would give way to much away and I don't want to spoil this book for anyone. I will say that this story was very interesting and something totally different from anything else I have read.
This book revolves around 3 main characters.... Willow (the good twin), Ivy (the bad twin), and Stoshua (The hunky Hero). The premise of the book is that Willow loves her sister Ivy very much and is willing to do anything to help her out. What we find out throughout the story is that Ivy doesn't feel the same way towards Willow. Which in turn starts the story we have here of betrayal, back stabbing and hurtful lies. Like I said before this book will having you sitting on the edge of your seat without the chance to catch your breath. Just when you think things are going to turn around or you have things figured out, Jenn throws a whole new twist to the story. She keeps that up throughout the whole book.
I will say that I felt bad for Willow in a lot of this book....the horrible things her sister does to her, to me is unforgivable. I truly felt Willow's pain in this book. Ivy on the other hand I wanted to b*tch slap multiple times. I couldn't believe she would stoop as low as she did just to hurt her sister. Stoshua....I was all over the map with him. There were times that I wanted to throttle him and then there were times that he totally won over my heart. But having these mixed feelings toward Stosh made it really hard to trust him throughout this book. As I was reading it I kept thinking, is he being honest with Willow and I was always holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to fall.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for an interesting love story with a lot of twists and turns. It will for sure having you sitting on the edge of your seat and turning the pages to find out what happens.

DNF at 63%.

I just couldn't do it. Going into this, I expected an interesting read. Identical twins - one good, one evil. Evil twin steals love of good twins life, drama ensues.
What I got was just...weird. And the love story between Stosh and Willow just wasn't enticing to me. I can understand Ivy was jealous and resentful of her sister growing up - but seriously, this chick is crazy. It makes no sense to me that Ivy thought she could get her sister knocked up and then steal her baby. First off - it is ridiculous to me that someone can perfectly calculate the exact two days when someone else is fertile. It is even more ridiculous to me that it would work! This whole story is just extremely unbelievable. And explain to me how their parents could not tell the difference between them! I know they were identical but even identical, their parents should have been able to find the differences after raising them. And after the life Willow lead, her parents just turn on her without letting her explain or trying to be sympathetic? From what Willow said, her parents were successful doctors who loved their children. You're telling me they would just turn on Willow like that?
I finally gave up when Willow and Stosh got arrested and Willow's mom was telling her what a 'mockery she has made of the family' by kidnapping her sister.
The dialogue was a bit juvenile. Too many exclamation marks (huge pet peeve I have) and Willow was so wishy washy. 'Stosh betrayed me I can't trust him'. Then a chapter later, 'she can see it in his eyes that he loves her and she can trust him'. Hmmm, that was a quick turn around.
Sorry, I am all for a good story and getting lost in a fantasy but this story was just too ridiculous for me.

I was really scared to read this book after seeing some of the other reviews of Goodreads. But I decided to go into it with an open mind and after starting it, for better or worse, I was hooked. I started this book and Hours later I was done. I can't say I loved it though. Yes, It was addictive but the characters were so messed up that there were times that I hated all of them. In a way, this was a really messed up version of Sweet Valley High.
Willow... I liked her (and felt sorry for her) until I didn't. I could relate to her... working hard in school to set herself on the right path. And while it wasn't the same I had a friend that would go out her way to flirt & hook up with guys her friends liked. Needless to say, we weren't friends long. So in that respect, I could relate to Willow. So I liked her until she decided to get revenge. And that's saying something because in her situation, I would be all for revenge. I was glad to see her standing up for herself. But she went about it all wrong. Instead of just exposing Ivy, Willow stooped to her level and became no better than Ivy. Granted, she wasn't as evil but I still didn't like her plan.
Ivy. I hated her. Plain and simple. I've had characters seriously piss me off in the past. They've made me want to drop kick them or even go all queen of hearts on them. But Ivy is the first one to make me want to plan the murder of a fictional character.
And that brings me to Ivy and Willow's parents. Willow must be a better person than me because if I were her, I wouldn't forgive them for the way they treated her.
Stoshua...Stosh. I really hated that name. Stosh reminded me of mustache and Stoshua was just plain awkward to read. But character wise...I was really doing a yo-yo act with him. At first I liked him. Then I didn't like him. Then I liked him. Then I hated him. Finally...I was kind of indifferent to him. He pulled one to many stunts for me to like him by the end.
Overall story...it as like something straight out of a soap opera. Strike that...I think it was a Soap opera...on crack. It had so many twists and turns that even if I wanted to put it down (and there were a few moments when I did), I couldn't because I just had to know how it ended.
Speaking of the ending...I wasn't all that happy with it. Yes, it had a HEA. And it wasn't a cliff hanger (thank god) but...I felt Ivy got off to easy...way to easy. And now I see that there's going to be a sequel to this book and I'm left shocked and scratching my head because honestly...there's no need. There was a HEA and a satisfactory ending for Willow and Stosh. And if the second book is about Ivy...No thank you. I don't enjoy reading about psycho characters. And living through her in one book was bad enough when she was a secondary character. I have no desire to read a whole book about her. I don't want her to have a happy ending. I want her to drive off a steep cliff into the the ocean...then have the ocean floor open and swallow her whole...never to be seen or heard from again.
I can't say I love this book...because I didn't. I had too many issues for that to happen. But, i can say that I wouldn't be opposed to reading another book by the author. My previous foray into Ms. Foor's books didn't go so well. But I've seen much improvement in the storytelling that I'm willing to read more from her.

Ivy. I hated her. Plain and simple. I've had characters seriously piss me off in the past. They've made me want to drop kick them or even go all queen of hearts on them. But Ivy is the first one to make me want to plan the murder of a fictional character.
And that brings me to Ivy and Willow's parents. Willow must be a better person than me because if I were her, I wouldn't forgive them for the way they treated her.
Stoshua...Stosh. I really hated that name. Stosh reminded me of mustache and Stoshua was just plain awkward to read. But character wise...I was really doing a yo-yo act with him. At first I liked him. Then I didn't like him. Then I liked him. Then I hated him. Finally...I was kind of indifferent to him. He pulled one to many stunts for me to like him by the end.
Overall story...it as like something straight out of a soap opera. Strike that...I think it was a Soap opera...on crack. It had so many twists and turns that even if I wanted to put it down (and there were a few moments when I did), I couldn't because I just had to know how it ended.
Speaking of the ending...I wasn't all that happy with it. Yes, it had a HEA. And it wasn't a cliff hanger (thank god) but...I felt Ivy got off to easy...way to easy. And now I see that there's going to be a sequel to this book and I'm left shocked and scratching my head because honestly...there's no need. There was a HEA and a satisfactory ending for Willow and Stosh. And if the second book is about Ivy...No thank you. I don't enjoy reading about psycho characters. And living through her in one book was bad enough when she was a secondary character. I have no desire to read a whole book about her. I don't want her to have a happy ending. I want her to drive off a steep cliff into the the ocean...then have the ocean floor open and swallow her whole...never to be seen or heard from again.
I can't say I love this book...because I didn't. I had too many issues for that to happen. But, i can say that I wouldn't be opposed to reading another book by the author. My previous foray into Ms. Foor's books didn't go so well. But I've seen much improvement in the storytelling that I'm willing to read more from her.

I really hate writing a bad review unfortunately I still feel like I need since I myself get ticked when I see a book with high stars an it turns out an into a train wreck an NO ONE stated that in a review. I wanted to love this book. I wanted to love Willow. Ivy her twin we knew would be the evil b@tch. This book was train wreck The characters were flat. Words in print flat. The supposed love story before an after,,,,, I just didn't buy it. Willow who is supposed to be 'strong' an super smart ....well she was gullible an naive. Ivy screws her over on purpose an yet Willow still plows in to Ivys rescue. The story didn't add up either ...discrepancies an gaps.

2.5 stars!! I don't really know what to say about this one. I finished it but what a story to get through to get there. This was just a bit too much and too unbelievable, it was sick and twisted in some ways yet did actually have a great story underneath. I'm still a bit up in the air over Stosh's whole involvement, it just didn't sit right and Willow was just too damn forgiving and trusting. The plot just didn't really come together for me. It had the potential to be great but just fell a bit flat for me. I had too many eye rolls and too many oh FFS moments.

Twinsequences was not what I was expecting. Everyone told me it was different and it definitely was!! People…you should have prepared me. I am not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn’t what I read. This was nothing like my usual reads. I am a huge Jenn Foor and Mitchell Family series fan, but this is NOTHING like the Mitchells. Hot guy, yes…warm and fuzzy family, no!! But, I am not saying all this in a bad way either, because this story had me hooked…like couldn’t stop because I needed to know what the next twist was going to be. Things were changing so quickly that I needed to know where it was going next. This story does not give you time to breathe…you are thrown from one emotion to the next without a break in between. I am not kidding or being overly dramatic when I say, it is action packed from the start to the very end. There is never a dull moment.

So, I have read other reviews(after reading the book, of coarse, because I don’t read reviews before) and I see that people don’t like the “unrealistic” parts of this story. Well, yeah, some parts aren’t realistic but we as readers read paranormal, right? Or at least some of us do….and unrealistic is not always a bad thing. Variety is good and I happen to enjoy variety in my books as well. Just because I couldn’t relate to every emotion and situation in this story doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it. About the last 25-30% of the story really got to me. I was sad :( and then happy and then sad…omg, it was crazy!! There were so many struggles in this story but not all of them touched me like others did. UGH…I know this doesn’t make sense and some of it is so hard to explain without ruining it al for you. But do know that I still got my HEA!!! And that makes this reader and blogger, a happy girl!!!
If you are looking for angst, romance, betrayal, and non-stop twists, this is the story for you. Happy Reading!!!

**Stopped at 43% and not sure about finishing**
I have a real dilemma here. I really wanted to like this book. The premise sounded so intriguing. It was even written pretty well. But somewhere along the way it took a turn for the worse. What started out promising, ended up like a lifetime movie on crack.
Not trying to be mean here, it's just how I felt. Stosh was too pansy for my tastes. His part in things was also too shady for my liking. And yes, I realize since I didn't finish the book I can't comment on it as a whole, this is my opinion on what I did read. Ivy just needed to die. Plain and simple. I can't think of any character in any book I've ever read where I was praying that they would die a horrible painful death like I wanted for Ivy. That sounds awful, I know but hey... I call em how I see em. She was nothing but psycho and manipulative and I can't even understand how NO ONE ever saw any warning signs. Willow was ok at times but at others I wanted to smack her upside the head for not kicking the shit out of her sister and telling their parents to EFF off and just move far far away. I liked that she was all about standing up for herself but she seemed to be heading in the wrong direction (I'm basing this off of other reviews and spoilers I was told about how she decides to stoop to Ivy's level to get revenge) Her parents needed a

I had the honor of reading Twinsequenes early and I must say that Jenn Foor continues to amaze me with her writing. I fell in love with the Mitchell Family series (if you haven't read that, it's a MUST!) and now with the release of Twinsequences, Jenn has created characters who you will love to hate.
Twins as close as any could be growing up but one is not who she seems to be. She ask her twin sister to take her place to help her out because she has a problem that only her sister can help her with. I don't want to give any spoilers away but I will say that this book has many twist and will have you on the edge of your seat. This book is nothing like Jenn has written before. You will find yourself screaming at your kindle and saying "No! That did not just happen!!!) Betrayal, loss, and finding love that should have been all along, and then losing it. You will find yourself torn and not sure how you want it to turn out, but one thing is sure you will love it and as always in Jenn fashion she pulls it all together in the end and you will be over joyed and yes, drained when it's over. I know you will enjoy it as much as I did.

I really loved the Mitchell series that was also written by this author so I did not hesitate to purchase her newest release. Unfortunately, this one just did not do it for me at all. It was just entirely unrealistic.

If you want to read a book that will have you holding onto it for dear life…..this is it! Twinsequences is a gripping, suspense-filled story of the evils done by the twin sister from hell. Yes, I mean that and the book stated it also. I still cannot get over what this girl was capable of and to the extent that she took things.
This is the story of Willow (Will), her twin sister, Ivy and Stoshua. Yes…I know..what kind of name is that? But you’ll find out in the beginning of the book. He’s also the boy that Will begins to have feelings for and they become friends. Starting out, I didn’t quite expect and was totally caught off guard with finding out Ivy’s true feelings towards her twin sister. Are there siblings really like this out there? And Willow is totally unsuspecting of what her sister’s motives are. Things start when the girls are in high school. Ivy is the flirty, outgoing, cheerleader, slutty one. Yes, I said that, too. Willow is the reserved, shy, academic girl. And she does what her “mental sister” asks her to do in seemingly desperate times. Well, Willow can only take so much. After the prom and graduation, Willow cannot get out of town fast enough and as far away from the sister that she thought was her best friend and the one that she would do anything for.
Well…fast forward four years, and Ivy makes a call to Willow begging her to help her out one more time. She needs her. Yup…you guessed it, Willow goes back home. For some reason, she just can’t say no to Ivy. You’d think that she learned her lesson the hard way. There are so many events that happen in this book & I’m not going to put out any spoilers here. I was pulled in, twisted, spun around, pushed & smacked while reading this book. All I can say is, “Wow!” Jenn For kept this story flowing, and it was emotional and hair-pulling for me. I also wanted to bitch-slap Ivy a few times myself. It all boils down to the lengths that Ivy will go to to inflict a lot of hurt on Willow. Is there a smack-down at the end?? Does Willow finally stand up for what she wants & says enough already??
I highly recommend reading this book. You will find your mouth hanging open at times just like I did. It was a great book to mix in with the books that I’ve been reading & I’m so glad that I got my hands on this one. I will definitely be checking out other books by this author. As long as I can remember I have been a fan of Days of Our Lives. My Grandma, Mother, sisters and I were all obsessed. At times was it crazy and unbelievable? Hell yes(anyone remember Marlena and the exorcism)?!. Regardless of how crazy the show got I still watched it religiously and thrived off of the soap opera!
This book is a soap opera. A story of two twins, one good, one evil. Is the storyline far fetched? Yes. But you know what, I don't need a true life story all of the time. Sometimes I want deception, hate, drama, people impersonation their twin sister, psychotic love and true love. This book was crazy, and I loved every second of it!!

Stoshua, the object of the twins' affection. His name is definitely a bit of a tongue twister but I do like the shortened version, Stosh. He was lovable and beyond gullible. I'm a huge fan of Jenn Foor & I absolutely love her books - Twinsequences was no different! It's the story about Willow and Ivy, who are twins that couldn't be more opposite - Ivy is the popular cheerleader type while Willow is the smart, quiet type. What surprised me is that they are always trying to hurt each other, and out-do each other at every turn, especially when it comes to Stoshua - the guy Willow fell in love with but got snatched up by Ivy.
There are so many ups and downs throughout this book that will leave you biting your nails in one minute and then wanting to beat the crap out of Willow, Ivy AND Stoshua in the next! It's an emotional rollercoaster but the story (and the writing) are both very engaging! No matter how angry or frustrated you get with the characters, you can't put this book down because you just HAVE TO know what happens next. I loved the continuous conflict between Ivy and Willow, and was repeatedly surprised when Willow always came running when Ivy called.
This book was sexy, and intriguing, filled with drama, revenge, love, hate and tension - Jenn Foor did an amazing job of balancing all those elements. I highly recommend this book :)

I am a huge Jennifer Foor fan! I love the direction she went with this story. The drama and deception fed this story right up to the end. I never would have guessed where this story was leading. Jenn did an amazing job with keeping me guessing and throwing the curve balls in there. These characters were not at all what I was expecting. Parts of the story had me in tears while others had me saying “WTF?” Ivy and Willow are twins but are nothing alike other than their looks. Willow has always tried to be the good girl, has her head on her shoulders, and tried to make something of her life. Ivy is the complete opposite, always causing trouble and looking for the easy way out. Stoshua is a very complicated character. One minute I liked him, the next I wanted to strangle him! Relationships are renewed. Some are tried and tested. And others are demolished beyond repair. You might think you have the story figured out, but you really have no idea. The deception goes further than I ever thought it would. If you are not a fan, you will be after reading this book!

WOW! This book was unbelievable and so much like a soap opera, but I loved it! The entire book was full of shock and awe! I enjoyed Stoshua and Willow, but something wasn't right in my feelings for them...maybe it was because of the start of their relationship or maybe it was because of what Willow found out that he did. Either way, I didn't fall in love with them as much as Jenn Foor's other couples. This book had fantastic drama and I was constantly wanting to know what was going to happen next! Jenn Foor certainly keeps you on the edge of your seat and doesn't disappoint! I would highly recommend this book, but if you don't like lots of unbelievable drama...this book may not be for you, so keep that in mind.

The story just seemed to be too much all together, lots of unbelievable stuff happening to one twin brought on by the other with Stosh smack in the middle.

Well I should have trusted the other reviews. When someone says that a story is too far fetched I always call BS. It's a book and books are works of fiction. Then there's stories and scenarios like this that make you think twice about that. This story is so far out of the realm of possibility. I found myself wanting to rage quit a book! I tougher it out though but I don't even know if I'm happy to say that. I'm just glad the book is over. The writing and writing style were good. The story was just beyond far fetched. I guess if you like those kinda if books though this one is for you. Like I said great writing, good character development. Just way to complicated and completely beyond a possibility of happening situation.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!! Jenn, u NEVER cease to amaze me! This story was AWESOME! With the exception of the one lil paragraph that said "thanks for reading......." bout 3/4 ways into the book had me gasping for air! LOL thank goodness for a lil typo, for when I turned the page, the story continued, thank fuck! Excellent story, oh how I wish Ivy would've gotten hers, she deserved nothingless than rotting in prison.....unless......there is gonna be a second book.........:D

So different! Absolutely LOVED this book! Ivy is a Cray Cray bitch and she is putting her twin sister Willow through it!! I've read every Mitchell Family book written by this author and was so surprised on how different a direction this story went and I think Jennifer Foor nailed it!! She mixed hot sexy romance with a little crazy and mystery and revenge... it was AWESOME!! 5 Stars!!!

I read everything Foor writes. This was...hummm...interesting to say the least. It was good in a "flipping past a Lifetime movie and it's so freaking strange you can't stop watching" type good. The thing that drew me to it was Foor, the thing that kept me reading it was the fact I HAD to see WTF was going to happen next! Not my favorite of her books, but it wasn't bad.

This is a solid 1.5 stars for me. Everything was back and forth, and the grammar mistakes were awful. It would have been a good story if the author knew how to eloquently write good dialogue. I think it had potential but fell way short.

I am a huge fan of Jennifer Foor's so I jumped at the chance to read Twinsequences from her. So this review is mostly going to be about how I personally felt, rather than what happened. The one thing I will tell you though is that this book has romance, but it is also full of suspense and drama.
Ivy and Willow are twins. They were best friends all through their childhood, until they reached high school and everything changed, Willow never expected for her sister to be the one to steal away her happiness and future when she went after the boy that Willow was in love with. Willow left town with her broken heart, and four years have now passed. Willow missed her two best friends, but she couldn't stomach being around them knowing that they were now married and living the life that should have been hers. But when she receives a call in the middle of the night from Ivy saying she needs help, Willow knows she would do anything for her sister even if it means returning home and coming face to face with the man she will never have, Ivy's husband Stoshua Wheeler. But when Ivy asks her to pretend to be her and do whatever it takes to keep Stoshua from figuring out she's actually Willow, Willow begins to wonder just what Ivy is up to.
I hated Ivy instantly. Part of that was because this was clearly Willow's story and since it is told from her POV we get to see everything that she has been through. But there was something about Ivy that instantly told me she wasn't up to any good. Even when they were kids, it just felt like something was off. I liked Willow, but her loyalty and devotion to her sister after everything was something that I flat out didn't understand. The more she learned about everything, the more she started to see what had been happening all those years that she was unaware of. Yet she still wanted to believe the best in Ivy and continued to run to her at the drop of a hat. I didn't get it, and frankly she should have been running in the opposite direction as far as I could tell, no matter what her family or anyone else thought. I liked Stoshua, but he wasn't without his own blame here. There were many things that he did that really pissed me off, and I wish that he had been more honest with Willow both in the past and in the present. I felt like these two needed to talk to one another more and after everything that they had been through I didn't get why they continued to make decisions or act without talking to one another first. The one thing that was clear though is that the connection and chemistry between Willow and Stoshua was one that had endured no matter what they had been through. They loved one another in a very deep and true way, and I really felt like their feelings had never diminished over the years apart.
Overall, I really want to go into more about this book but I can't without spoiling anything and this is one of those books that you just have to experience. I do wish that we had been given Stoshua's POV as I think that it would have added so much to this story! I wanted to see what he was thinking and feeling as everything played out here. I have never met a character like Ivy before, and honestly I hated her right from the start. She is one of those that you just love to hate. You want to believe that with the right amount of help and love that she can change, but honestly I just don't see it happening. She is completely certifiable, and yet I do see some of what made her become the way she is. Though I don't condone anything she has done, I think that Jennifer Foor did a great job of showing how in her mind how she got to the point she is at. It will definitely be interesting to see what happens in the next book, and I already know that it is going to be another crazy ride for all these characters. While this book isn't for everyone and is very outlandish, I took it for what it was and found myself getting lost in all the crazy twists and turns. If you are looking for something realistic, I don't think that this book would be for you. The amount of crazy and out there circumstances for everything to happen here would never be something typical in real life, but if you are looking for something wild and different and very much like a crazy soap opera, this is one worth giving a shot!

I am a huge fan of Jennifer Foor's so I jumped at the chance to read Twinsequences from her. I knew going in this one would be different after reading the blurb, and I can honestly say that this one was quite the wild ride. If you want to read a book that will have you holding onto it for dear life…..this is it! Twinsequences is a gripping, suspense-filled story of the evils done by the twin sister from hell. Yes, I mean that and the book stated it also. I still cannot get over what this girl was capable of and to the extent that she took things.
This is the story of Willow (Will), her twin sister, Ivy and Stoshua. Yes…I know..what kind of name is that? But you’ll find out in the beginning of the book. He’s also the boy that Will begins to have feelings for and they become friends. Starting out, I didn’t quite expect and was totally caught off guard with finding out Ivy’s true feelings towards her twin sister. Are there siblings really like this out there? And Willow is totally unsuspecting of what her sister’s motives are. Things start when the girls are in high school. Ivy is the flirty, outgoing, cheerleader, slutty one. Yes, I said that, too. Willow is the reserved, shy, academic girl. And she does what her “mental sister” asks her to do in seemingly desperate times. Well, Willow can only take so much. After the prom and graduation, Willow cannot get out of town fast enough and as far away from the sister that she thought was her best friend and the one that she would do anything for.
Well…fast forward four years, and Ivy makes a call to Willow begging her to help her out one more time. She needs her. Yup…you guessed it, Willow goes back home. For some reason, she just can’t say no to Ivy. You’d think that she learned her lesson the hard way. There are so many events that happen in this book & I’m not going to put out any spoilers here. I was pulled in, twisted, spun around, pushed & smacked while reading this book. All I can say is, “Wow!” Jenn For kept this story flowing, and it was emotional and hair-pulling for me. I also wanted to bitch-slap Ivy a few times myself. It all boils down to the lengths that Ivy will go to to inflict a lot of hurt on Willow. Is there a smack-down at the end?? Does Willow finally stand up for what she wants & says enough already??
I highly recommend reading this book. You will find your mouth hanging open at times just like I did. It was a great book to mix in with the books that I’ve been reading & I’m so glad that I got my hands on this one. I will definitely be checking out other books by this author. Wow.... Twinsequences left me with my mouth gaped opened like I was trying to catch flies!! I found myself throughout the entire book saying... "What the...???" Twinsequences is a well written story with TONS of angst, love, mystery, and HOT sex that made it a definite read! It is like a Soap Opera on pages!
Ivy and Willow are identical twins. Ivy is the typical high school socialite that only focuses on boyfriends, parties, and being the hottest chick in school. Willow is the smart twin. She is focused on getting good grades, her GPA, and setting goals for her life. They never get into each other cross hairs until Stoshua Wheeler came to their school.
Stoshua... although I didn't care for the name... is the new guy. He is hot, smart, athletic, and a mystery to them all because he is the new guy. Willow becomes friends with him, although she wants more, and hopes one day she will be Mrs. Wheeler. They had an amazing friendship and I couldn't help but wonder if Stosh felt the same. That is until Ivy stakes claim that she will be Stosh's date to prom.... which Willow was working up the nerve to ask him to. Long story short, Ivy goes to prom with Stosh, has sex, gets pregnant, marries Stosh, has a miscarriage, and Willow disappears to college.
This is where the book for me took a strange turn. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the angst of this story, there were several events I just couldn't 100% buy into. It felt very unrealistic to me. That is not saying the writing was poor, because I still could not put the book down!! I just found myself thinking this could NEVER happen and it made it tough to solely lose myself in the story. I HATED Ivy and felt so extremely bad for Willow. Now Stoshua was a different animal altogether. I questioned his every move, feeling, and when he made certain declarations I never trusted him. He was hot, gave awesomesauce sex.... but I just couldn't fall for him. For me, he was a conniving, pathetic, weak stud and I like Alphas a little too much to consider him a book boyfriend.
With all of that being said Twinsequences was a good book. I loved the basis of the story, I just wished some of the events were a little more realistic. Even with these critiques I have, I read this book in one night. I couldn't bookmark pages, because I had to know how it ended!! I give Twinsequences 3.8 stars on the knock my socks off scale. I loved parts, hated parts, but still have the utmost respect for Jenn Foor's writing!!

I was extremely excited to be offered a spot on a Jennifer Foor’s blog tour because I really enjoy her novels. I wasn’t sure what to expect with Twinsequences but the synopsis definitely had me intrigued. From the first pages, I was sucked in. This story is filled with so many twists and turns that you cannot help but finish it in one sitting. The characters are dynamic, the plot is unique… the whole package is stuffed full of suspense and romance!
Willow and Ivy are twin sisters that couldn’t be more different. Willow is driven and focused while Ivy is irresponsible and reckless. If they weren’t sisters, they definitely wouldn’t be friends. Willow plays a mothering role to Ivy and has cleaned up her messes their whole life. It is all part of being a great sister but Ivy pushes Willow too far…
Willow and Stoshua meet their senior year of high school and the attraction is instant. Willow has never felt this way and her emotional reactions toward Stosh frighten and excite her. They form a best friend bond but Willow wants more. She finally gets the nerve to admit her feelings to him when Ivy downpours on her parade… Stosh and Ivy are going to the prom together. Immediately, Willow feels like her world is crashing down on her but this is just the beginning.
“Promise me, that whatever happens, you’ll come to me for an explanation first. When Ivy finds out that you know, she’ll make me look like the bad guy.”
“I promise. I won’t let her keep you from me, Stosh. Not this time.”
Soon enough the story goes off in one different direction only to veer off again later. I found myself anticipating what was to come but then finding out I was way off. There are plenty of unexpected events and you are on the edge of your seat until the very end. It is a wild ride! Throughout the whole novel, I couldn’t help but feel nervous from the thrilling content. Some of the concepts might seem a little Jerry Springer (sisters dating the same guy) but Jennifer Foor managed to pull it off flawlessly. I was pleasantly surprised to find this main line of the story to not be weird at all when it very easily could be. Well done!
Twinsequences is another fantastic novel by this talented author. You will not be disappointed or left dangling off a cliff!
