She admits to the adversities and challenges it faces though. It is a reminder to always speak up. No one is alone. Palmer makes no mistake by living on faith she will tell people how important it is to have God in your life. "I don't force Christian views onto others. I'm simply not that kind of person. Yes, I attend church, I pray and have a strong sense of belief things happen for a reason." Among her writing she gives back to community as much as possible in which was a part of her up bringing. She continues to support The USO & non-profits near and dear to her. She continues to support her time to North Shore Animal League of America and Breast Cancer Awareness. When she's not writing Shellie enjoys being outside, spending time with family, her best friend and remains in contact with her closest friends living out of state. Shellie is much more than just a writer, she blogs, create web designs and crafts on the side. It is what she is, real and authentic. It is what makes her who she is, her real stripped down self. What you see is what you get from Shellie Palmer. Her love of music rings just as true to who she is, and there is no specific genre to her playing list either. She appreciates and gives considerable credit to songwriters for their craft, as well as musicians. It is the heart and soul of a writer and composer. Music and writing is all that Shellie has ever known, in which she's extremely passionate for. Her sense of community has mold her and her family shaped her into the woman she is.
