March 28, 2023Donated my copy, despite it being a handsome Dover edition that looked good on my shelf. I still find some reference books like this useful in the digital age, but not this one: the 1,560 battles boasted in the subtitle is only a small fraction of the recorded battles of history. Wikipedia compiles thousands, with far more information content per battle. And only so many books will fit in a studio.
