Enjoyable and entertaining.
Quince and Joy were slow to admit to their feelings, playing cat and cat for a while before dealing with the last of the scumbag cheating bullies in the pride.
Liked the ending with Miles being duped into pride leader and that bit with Quince’s sister Zoe, there will be fireworks for sure.
I read the rest of this series years ago and it is nice to get to read new stories, for me anyway.
Read through Kindle Unlimited.

Great story
Great story. Quince and Joy are a great couple. Love Joy so strong, independent, smart, arrogant, and a great leader. Quince is her equal in all ways and knows just how to handle her.

I love Love Love This Book
I never a whole series so fast... It seemed like each book just kept getting better and better...I loved how Quince and Joy's love blossomed into something so beautiful and true!!!! Great Great Great

I just finished this book. I found this one to be very interesting and good. I enjoyed reading it now on to the last one in this series.

Good for a quick read.
This book was not as strong as her others. No real twists or turns. It was a good distraction from my heavy textbook reading.

Thoughts: I have read a few other books in this series, and before this one I would have said they were pretty much "take it or leave it" for me. However, with this one I think Harte has broke out of that mold. This has been - by far- my favorite book in this series. I had a hard time putting this one down, and when I did, it was all I could think about until I could get back to it! It's just that good!
I loved Joy - she was a strong female character who didn't put up with any bullcrap. She had her own insecurities about her place within her family - as well as her place in Quince's life, but yet she is also confident in her abilities. Joy was substantial - not one of the 'queen bee' types like her sister from previous books. Her character was so refreshing to read in comparison to some of the others. The same goes for Quince - his character has flipped and made a complete 180 compared to what we have known of his character up until now. In fact, he turned out to be quite the endearing character! His odd courtship of Joy was interesting to read, and I really liked the complexity of their relationship.
The bottom line is that this book was so well done that it has me looking more favorably on the past ones in the series. I think it's time to go and re-read some books!...;)

This was not one of my favorites of the series. This book was pretty slow in parts and that is why I am rating it a four star. I loved the characters and their relationship. The relationship has such a history and was not simple or easy. The characters are rounded and both have faults but also successes in their life. I really like how the characters developed in the story and I can't wait to read more by this author.

Quince that boy has an ego the size of Mt. Everest, "Honey, I can smell your heat from here." Bingo. Quince at his finest." He's so possessive as well, "I know she's mine. But the stubborn female won't come home." And sometimes he has to play dirty to get what he wants, "he swallowed and willed his di** to behave. :Look. This is pride business, and I can't chance anyone seeing. This is important." And it was. He needed her like crazy." And sometimes being tricky backfires and you may or may not get rewarded, "he swore again. "Damn it, Joy. I'm going to die if you don't ease me. My balls are blue, and my di** is so hard it might break. Give me something." He licked his lips again. "Sit on my face." Well if he can't be pleased at that moment his woman should be. He's also bossy, "he slapped her on the a**. "Good. Now quit screwing around and feed me, woman. You wore me out last night." I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

This is the seventh book in the Cougar Falls series, and Quince is an adorable hero. The main plot is that Quince and Joy have a budding crush/romance when major crap involving Quince almost tore apart their pride. Quince is trying to rebuild his credibility, and of course prove himself to Joy … but she's having none of it … this means he has to resort to his cat nature, the devious side of felines. I loved watching Joy fall for Quince through trickery, and it was well written. I feel like I could have hated his devious nature, but instead it was well done and I felt myself fall for Quince. All of the Cougar Falls books have been fun to read and are on my auto-buy list.

Disappointed.
Going in I Knew this was a short story. And I do realize that as a romance there is sex involved.,however where was the story line. Yes I get it quince needs to make joy understand he was being a jack ass for a reason. Maybe this should have been a story within an anthology. What I See here is a quick setup to introduce Miles' mate Zoe and take care of quince and Joy at the same time. Lots of bickering between quince and his lieutenants, lost of sex between joy and quince, then a fight for the "pride", of which quince does not want, just to setup miles for the leadership.
THIS IS JUST MY OPINION . I HAVE READ OTHER PEOPLE'S REVIEW AND THEY LOVED IT. so this is just my half penny worth.

I loved the latest from Marie Harte. As soon as I picked up this book, I was immediately transported into this story. Joy and Quince were such an alpha couple. And the secondary characters in this story were awesome. And I feel that if you read into this book, there is possible hidden giveaways in the beginning of the book...read the first 10-20 pages to catch what I mean...This wasn't so much a Cougar Falls book but its about the Miami cats story and I think we see were more stories will come..which makes me a happy girl.
This story will knock your socks off. Word of warning...DO NOT READ BEFORE GOING TO BED. I Did and was up until I Finished the book. This is a wonderful book and I highly recommend buying it and reading it.

Love a shifter story ...this one is the first I have read in this series..so sexy and sweet and unique in its own way. I want me some Quince that's for sure, love "Joy is great" I'll have to change that to my name...lol..Quince and Joy are hot together that's for sure, sex is on fire. Love all of Joy's siblings Quince was right they were all born with ego's..too funny..I thought the story itself with the pride coming together and Quince wanting what's Good for the pride and standing up to the others who are not..he is so devious in this book, it a totally good way...thought this story was great, sexy sweet and entertaining. 4.5 stars. Another great in the Cougar Falls by Marie Harte! I absolutely love her characters and her story-building. I can't wait to hear about Miles in the next one...can't wait! I love the Aw-taw shifters. I wasn't a fan of the bermin sisters and miles but after showing their true colours I started to like them. Really looking forward to Zoe kicking Miles ass. Great story always love a strong independent women.

Cougar falls is one of my favorite series I loved Quince and Joy's story. I could not put is down. It has everything you would expect from Marie Harte, charm, laughter and romance at its finest. I can't wait for Miles and Zoe's. If you are not reading cougar falls series you are missing out

I adore the Cougar Falls shifter series. This book centers on Quince and Joy and is another wickedly exciting book with many twists. Steamy, romantic exciting, Marie always comes through!

It's really surprising when an author can make us love even the villains of a previous story...but we kind of saw Quince's story coming because of the bracelet he chooses to wear.

Good book and I was eager to see the end but kept my self restrained and waited to see the ending I hoped for. .
