Paige Masterson’s life is turned upside down when she travels through time and ends up in 1823. On a plantation full of crops, orchards and slaves, Paige is taken in by the wealthy owners and has no choice but to start making a life for herself in 1823. The Roberts are wonderful people, and Paige even falls in love, but if given the chance, will she return to the time she’s from, or choose to stay in her new life?
I completely enjoyed this book. it was relaxing and for once I didn't have to be pensive waiting for a huge conflict. it was wonderful for things to fall together so easily. The only thing I can say bad is that the author didn't tackle a few minor details...like Paige not being a virgin and how that would play out or her past and how to explain it in the future. Otherwise... it was perfect the way it is. I truly truly enjoyed and would recommend it to anyone who wants to read a simple sweet story!!
I give it 4 stars. Pretty good writing. The writer takes you away to the era without too long details. My only complaint was that it was too short. However it did keep me glued to it till the end. A nice quick read for relaxing a few hrs or at the beach or cabin.
I really enjoyed this book. It was romantic but real and still a little fantasy. Once I started the book, I didn't want to put it down. I needed to know how it ended
