Elizabeth long ago placed her Christmas Eve visitor as an imaginary friend, such as is common to lonely little girls, but when he appears at her work site, a very grownup cowboy in boots and spurs, she has to figure out what is imaginary and what is real.

Quick read with not as much depth as a would have liked due to the shortness of the story.
Liked the characters of Elizabeth/Lizzie and Billy/Will but not as much interaction as I would have expected. Happily ever after in the offing.

Great story!

Two different times, one separated couple, that belongs together. Will they meet and be able to stay together, forever. Or will this Christmas Eve be the last?

This was really just borderline 'it was ok'.

A lonely little girl and boy who are brought together on a few Christmas Eves through some cosmic time travel thing.

Except...it ended when She was 7 and he was a couple years older than him.
Through the same cosmic connection, they are somehow reunited as adults (near their 30's) and they immediately recognize each other????
I know, I know...it's a book.
They share maybe 10 sentences before they fall asleep and she's whisked back to her own time.
When they get back together, after exchanging about 3 more sentences...he proposes.

OK, OK, so MOST romances have insta-attraction/insta-lust which turns quickly to insta-love and I can deal, but this was a little much even for my sensibilities.

It's a shorty so I would think the last thing to omit would be character and relationship development, but sadly, that's exactly what she did.

Good Christmas story

This was a really good, fast paced short story. Was a fast paced story that kept me turning the pages. Just the kind of story I love to read during the Christmas season.

Sweet

This s was a sweet love story that had you wondering if they'd be able to find love and stay together! I enjoyed the simplicity of their love for each other and how they both were willing to give up everything for the other! ❤️

It's short but that is the nature of the novella. Short but sweet.
