Llegué al final de una trilogía en donde me ocurrió algo extraño: El primer libro me pareció aceptable, el segundo sobresaliente y el tercero me gustó mucho.

Aunque un poco predecible en algunos momentos, exceptuando por el final, he pasado un buen rato en este creativo mundo de escarabajos y en esas extrañas, pero interesantes aventuras de Tom Scatterhorn. De su escritor, Henry Chancellor, lo que más me gusto fue la forma de narrar las escenas de acción.

Con respecto al desenlace final estuvo bien trabajado, me conmovió un poco.

It was deliciously weird,the last book in the adventures of Tom Scatterhorn, and what an adventure,
the book is crazy on different levels and very confusing in some parts, but it was different, and I consider it a diamond in the ruff, the 1st book looked so innocent from the out side , I didn't even think it will reach such climax at the end, this trilogy got everything ,it had time travel,humor, adventure,intensity, craziness ,sacrifice and a HERO against his wish.

I guarantee a UNIQUE unpredictable story, I can say I never read anything like it before.

i thouroughlly enjoyed this book although the start was a tad on the slow side. i loved the ending! almost made me cry, but i'm glad it wasn't the cheesey, predictable happily ever after. i'm glad we got to see more of the eagle who has always been my favourite and i love his australian accent! i also loved sir henry and august and the sheepfarmer, lightened it up a bit.
overall, a wonderful story that i really enjoyed!!!!! 5 stars!!!!!!!!

The trilogy of Tom Scatterhorn's remarkable adventures have been such a good read - very different in style from most fantasy, but intriguing, well-written, and engaging.
