Synda Supreme has known all her life she was a dragon…sort of. The love child of a human mother and dragon father, she’s maintained the secret and lived as a human never realizing that her last name is actually a title.
Until she met another dragon.
Kirill Kavinkovy knew nothing of the woman he was sent to kill but one look at her and he kidnaps her instead--unwittingly setting off a series of events that will change the dragon clans forever. With her he could rule a nation.
Warning: This book contains a hot dragon with a sexy accent and a sultry heroine with a penchant for fighting. Watch the sparks fly as these two find out just how low a dragon will go.
Kassanna is a strong believer in love at first sight and happily ever afters. After meeting her husband in November and marrying him three months later in February the two have survived and mostly enjoyed every adventure life has thrown their way. Ten years, two children, a couple of dogs and a wild turkey that came out the woods and somehow adopted them - later- the adventure continues.
Writing has always been her passion but fate sometimes has other roads that must first be taken . Navigating the road less traveled was not only unexpected but in the end extremely rewarding. Her books are mainly contemporary romance but she has delved into the paranormal and plans on expanding into other areas as the ideas come to her. Right now she is enjoying life and seeing her work come into fruition make it that much more pleasurable especially when her books make others smile. Kassanna wouldn't have it any other way.
This story started off exciting. The characters were moderately interesting and the plot initially seemed strong and engaging. Initially. Unfortunately this did not last. Honestly, it was a struggle to finish this book. I only did because I have this hang up...as long as I have paid good money for a book I stick with it to the bitter end. Halfway through the book I just didn't care about any of the characters, good, bad or in between. I can't recommend this book on ANY level and I honestly don't think I will ever read this author again. Sorry.
I enjoyed this one, I really wanted to see more of Manx and just how powerful he was or even a bit more back story to fill in just what the deal was with him and his brother leading to just what was wrong with Drago. Drago seemed like he was a decent guy in the beginning but of course he’s not, Manx made it seem like something was really wrong with him based off what he thought of Drago when he went on his rage with Timur. Kirill will hopefully be crazy powerful but so far nothing extraordinary yet. I thought for sure Synda would finally change forms but I’m really not sure if she did or not. Hopefully we’ll get to read more about the missing merman that she used to date. Maybe he’s decided to change sides and go against them. Good story.
I loved this story. Kassanna writes paranormal romance the way I like it--packed with action adventure and sizzling romance. Take one kick-ass heroine, add one sexy hero and you get explosive chemistry.
I look forward to the next instalment in this series.
Loved the story and the characters. I liked the woman's spirit, she didn't give in too quickly. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of shoddy editing.
I was pleasantly surprised with this novella. I loved the characters and the feisty-ness of the heroine. The camaraderie between the hero & his best friend was a nice addition.
Because of her unique heritage, Synda walls a fine line. But when she meets Kirill she doesn't have to hide her unique heritage. But by accepting this side if her background come as new challenges. This paranormal story will have the reader engrossed until the last page.
I liked it. A lot happened, but it didn't feel rushed to me even though the page count wasn't so high. Some parts could have been fleshed out a bit more, but I'm interested enough to read the second one.
Started strong but faded fast. This was one of those books that stayed on my kindle for quite awhile and it was a short read. I guess it was ok, but I never had any sort of emotional connection to the characters or plot. This wont be a series I continue.
Good concept but poor execution. There were too many nuances to the characters world/mythos that weren't explained. This leaves the reader feeling like they're missing something and the characters don't seem fully fleshed out. The sex scenes aren't bad but the cime across as rushed.
