Society's Collapse: The Bug Out. (Book 1)

Rate this book
Follow two groups of everyday people as they attempt to survive the collapse of American society after an EMP takes down the power grid and most electronics. The characters make mistakes and must learn hard lessons to survive in this new and harsh world. None of them are perfect but they must work together in order to survive when things go wrong. I am a first time author and looking for feedback. Book #2 in the series is under way.

I truly enjoyed this book!! I was surprised that the author is not a regularly published writer. Other than the numerous grammatical goofs, I had a blast reading this. I'm a bit upset however that I can't get the second book from Amazon because of some file error that needs to be corrected by the publisher. Let's go people....that is ruining my continuity of character and story 'enjoyability'......is that a word? Anyway....come on now!!!! Teddy and Jessica need saving, and Sean and Cassidy need burying. James is shot up....and Jason has a wife to get back. My God......! The humanity!!

Over-all plot was good except it had way too many holes regarding consistency. Editing was some of the worst I have ever seen. Please run spell check or something at a minimum!
The previous reviews preaching that the author prompts "racism, and a socialist U.S. Government" are just parts of the story. The author portrays "white biker criminals" with equal villainous traits.

Can't wait for the next one!

The only thing I didn't like is how so many of the characters had similar name s. I would occasionally get them confused. The end of this book left m on the edge of the seat almost angry about the ending. If this is the author s first book, I am impressed!

I liked this book a lot. It has some "first book written by a new author" issues but I liked the story a lot. The author as an obvious George RR Martin tendency to kill characters I like but it's better than the invincible survivalist characters that most books in the genre have.
