This book hooked me from the first page and I practically devoured it.

Jessica arrives at Noah and Caleb's place beaten up, with nowhere else to go and they take her in. You could really see their feelings change from "mere" concern over their friend's sister to caring for and loving Jessica herself.

Her trauma is never overlooked and she isn't immediately healed by being around the two guys. She still has nightmares, she still flinches easily but she's also going to therapy and working through her feelings, which I loved the inclusion of.

The sex scenes were really steamy and hot but sometimes the pacing of them within the book felt a bit off — just when we were getting some good plot, it switched to sex again. Not that I'm complaining! I just think maybe one or two less wouldn't have done irreparable damage 😉

Other than that, I absolutely loved everything about this book and I'm amazed at how much plot and character development the author managed to pack into this book! Noah and Caleb's relationship was already established but it didn't take the back burner and all the individual relationships between the three were equally important. Just a really well done MMF romance.

Ok

Caleb, Noah, and Jessica never really developed as characters for me. There were moments when I thought I might feel that spark of connection, but it never manifested. Jessica has been through something incredibly traumatic. There is a lot that could be done with that, but Pullen opted for the easy route and simply wrote spicy scenes. Oh they’re good enough. But there is no substance. Curtis is a paper villain used to really justify Jessica’s trauma. Caleb / Noah are in love but we certainly don’t get to know them much. I prefer my spice with a story. Overall, well written but just not for me

Spice was great. It's kind of predictable and repetitive at times. But is creative and sucks you in.

Description is highly lacking! You don't know what any character looks like till at least half way through the book and don't know what the main girl looks like at all. You however know what the house and rooms looks like very well.

Any fact about the characters is not mentioned till halfway to 3/4 the way through. I understand character build but it's hard to get attached to character when you know Jack sh!t about them.

Setting is only in the house there's mention of going to other places but you don't actually go there within the story except for the ending in the forest even then you barely know what is happening.

Action at the end is lacking. I know it's mostly a romance book but just saying they hear a gun shot and not having the main girl witness anything to confirm who or how the villan dies is anticlimactic. I get it's suppose to bring suspense because you don't know who is shot, but I didn't feel anything.

So much of this was incomprehensible, we didn’t ever get full descriptions of the main characters, some of the chapters read like fan fiction where the same details were repeated as if they’d been written weeks/months apart, there was basically no substance and the whole story could’ve been at least 100 pages shorter, but truly the worst part was the fmc’s name being…Jessica.

I also refuse to believe this book was written by someone who has actually lived in London, sorry

editing needed

There was too much detail about day to day simple things that dragged the story out. An editor would have seen that and cut the unnecessary chatter out. The first half of the book felt like the author read a self help book and just repeated everything. Just not a very compelling story.

One of the worst books I’ve read this year. This was boring and predictable. Characters didn’t get to develop much and were thrown into this relationship.

I came here for Will M. Watt.

I stumbled across this one on Audible by searching for Will and up it popped, I swear that man could read me a shopping list and I'd still melt. Amazing and I love his part of this book it's what kept me listening.

Now I have a few things to say about this audio book.

The Hot and Spicy LS Pullen has down although repeated quite a bit it could be overlooked.
but the biggest thing overall for me was why Sasha got to read the parts of Noah and Kaleb this was HUGE for me. her "Man" voices were awful. It sounded quite like she was somewhat constipated and turned me off listening. I don't understand why Will did not do those parts or any man for that matter.
Sasha was tolerable at her own parts I say this because while some parts sounded fantastic then at others she kind of fell flat for me so that was disappointing.
now as for the book the character development could have had more work there was a lot that could have went in there but I feel it was overlooked for the spice. I like my spice but I value the story in itself more.
A good listen overall but needs work.
Possible triggers for those of DV and or SA proceed with caution.

My book boyfriend in this goes to the lovely Will :) (Kaleb and Noah)

Come for the spice, stay for the...spice. It's really about 3.5 stars for me, but I didn't feel like docking it down to 3 on Goodreads.

The other reviews are correct. The finer details of this entire story are very vague...we get limited descriptions of the characters, the environment, the timeline, etc. The FMC has limited personality beyond "abused", and apart from one conversation years ago, the MMCs really don't have a good reason for falling head over heels for her. There's some odd monologuing that I think is meant to be insightful but is instead just in the way, since you don't feel bonded enough to the characters to care what they have to say.

I will say that I love Why Chooses where there is an existing m/m relationship, like in this book. It feels so much more real, and Noah/Caleb are very sweet to each other. The spice is spicy hot, although it doesn't kick in until about about a third of the way into the book. It's a great standalone, highly recommend for a beach or vacation read!

Meh nothing extraordinary.

Some red flags here and there and some things were incongruent for me.

This book was basically just smut with a sprinkle of plot. And tbh the words used in the spice were cringe worthy so even the spice wasn’t really worth reading the whole book.

I wouldn’t say I hated the book but I didn’t enjoyed it either It was just meh for me.

Was 3 ⭐️ but changed it too 2 ⭐️

This book started pretty strong and I thought it’s gonna be good. Yeah, hmmmm nahhhhh.

Please tell me how you can kill off a dead beat abusive ex (which I’m glad he got 4 bullets), but you don’t tell us who killed him. No description of the characters, the FMC goes through physical and sexual abuse, it’s horrible, shes runs to her brother’s friend’s house for safety and a week later they’re all fucking. Like this girl’s eye was swollen shut, broke ribs, covered in bruises from head to toe, scared of her own god damn shadows, having nightmares and waking up in a sweat but next minute there eating her out like she’s a bag of sweet and salty popcorn 🙄

They go out on a date, her and the guys (there gay) and like, hmmmm helloooooooo. Tell me what the hell you’s are eating. Like I wanna know, infact can you tell me what the characters look like. I can describe the house to you from room to room, but can’t tell you what the guys or the girl looks like.

And can we change the vocabulary please, good girl, baby girl, our girl, my girl, sweet girl. I GET IT!!!!!!

Ohhhh one of the guys was adopted, and that’s it. No idea why, what his background life was like NOTHING!!!!!

On a plus side they like to pour 2 fingers of whiskey in a tumbler glass, they did upgrade it in one chapter to three fingers. So yeah, that’s my review on this book. If you wanna fall asleep or read how many times they finger blast her, then go ahead, or how the guys literally bottom out (whatever ever that means) but still have energy to keep going all night, through 5 chapters STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!

Jessica is a young woman running away from an abusive ex, her brother is MIA so she seeks refuge with two of his friends Caleb and Noah.

Please check triggers as this has SA and DA, the author wrote it with sensitivity and I think it was well written.

Jessica is broken physically, mentally and emotionally. Slowly she pts herself back together and Noah+Caleb help put the live back into place.

It is spicy, it is touch her you die and the writing was smooth and flowed. Really enjoyed it 😁

This was my first read by L.S. Pullen.
From the very first page I was hooked I couldn’t put this book down I had to finish it in one sitting.
L.S. Pullen writing was very easy to fall in love with.
The plot was bingeable and the main characters Jessica, Noah & Caleb were loveable.
I can’t wait to read the other books I own from this author.

PLEASE CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS BEFORE READING.

“When we lose that innocence, the vulnerable part of us—the inner child, inevitably destroyed, it changes how we see the world. Because healing isn’t linear, it’s complex and multi-dimensional; it’s a work in progress.”

I LOVED THIS BOOK! From start to finish I was so wrapped up in the story that I couldn’t help but read it all in one day. Caleb and Noah (an existing couple) are shocked to find their friend’s younger sister, heavily hurt, on their doorstep one evening. Immediately, Caleb and Noah make it their mission to help Jessica in any way she needs, for as long as she needs. When feelings start to develop beyond what any of them expected, they are tasked with determining if outside forces are enough trouble to keep them apart or if this could truly be a once in a lifetime chance at a love beyond anything they could have dreamed of.

This book is definitely joining the list of my all-time favorite reads. I have been looking for a book like this again ever since I finished it. If the book description sounds like something you’d enjoy, DON’T HESITATE - L.S. Pullen did a great job with this plot line. It is a darker romance, and I really loved watching the connection grow between these three as well as how they helped Jessica along her journey to heal.

MMF Romance✅
Healing Love✅
Trauma ✅

Plot 4.75✨
Spice 4🔥

First off check warning as it deals with sensitive topics.
Now onto the review. This story is one that will pull on your heartstrings and make you want to reach into the story to hug Jessica. What she went through was traumatic but watching her heal and find herself again was so rewarding.
Noah and Caleb were gentle giants and the way they took care of her from the very beginning was heart stoppingly sweet. They are the definition of gentlemen. I absolutely love both of them and saw instantly why Jessica fell for both of them.
This is by far the spiciest book written by Ms. Pullen, but the spice does not take away from the plot. In fact, it adds to it because Jessica finds her healing in the time she spends intimately with the boys. I liked the fact that while dealing with drama related subjects it was a low drama book between the main characters with no 80% breakup. Like always the writing was flawless and made the book very easy to read. The only thing I found myself missing was more of Noah and Caleb as a couple before their feelings for Jessica grew.
However, saying that I cannot wait for the next story to come out of this universe.

This was a little too insta love/lust right from the beginning.
There was basically no plot development, lots of tell and no show.
WEEKS WERE BEING SKIPPED AND SUMMARIZED. Weeks that supposedly included the very much needed plot and relationship development.

Mid-tier read, finished at 1:30 a.m. because I wanted it to be OVER ALREADY. The last 20% of the book took forever and wasn't even that well-executed (sorry, not sorry). Honestly, I'm surprised this took me so long to read compared to other books. Curtis needed a longer death.

Favourite quotes:
- I wait until the door closes and I’m alone. I carefully swing my legs over the edge of the bed and stare at the floor. The urge to cry is there, but I don’t know if I can. Breaking down in front of Mitchell was terrible enough, but if I really let go, if I let it all out, I don’t know if I’ll be able to stop.
- I’ve been finding that napping in small intervals throughout the day helps, seeing as I’ve been unable to sleep at night. I don’t know if it's from the fear of having nightmares or because I feel safer sleeping in the day. Instead, I find myself quietly prowling between the living room, kitchen, and the guest room at night.
- When we lose that innocence, the vulnerable part of us— the inner child, inevitably destroyed, it changes how we see the world. Because healing isn’t linear, it’s complex and multi- dimensional; it’s a work in progress.

Kindle notes:
- “Who the fuck hurt you?” His question makes me tense, my breathing more erratic, wishing I could disappear. (love this trope already introduced on page 6 lol)
- CEO of Knight Risk Management Solutions (who the fuck thought this was a good name)
- Two of my favourite food groups. Cheese and pasta. (look I can get behind this haha)
- “Why would you share your password with me, and why Formidable?” (never was explained)
- “I’d never want to ruin the trust and friendship we’ve built with her. My concern for her well- being will always outweigh my selfish wants and desires.” (Why dont my guy friends get this fucking hell)
- He never shies away from what he wants— or needs. And he always gets it eventually. It's how he got me. (So theyre both bi and want jessica or...?)
- “I hope you’re not ticklish, little one. I don’t fancy a kick to the gut.” (girl if you don't kick him I will)
- “Believe me. We always have room for dessert.” The way Noah throws that comment over his shoulder, with a smirk on his handsome face and a wink, makes me wonder if that was some kind of innuendo. (hahaha loved this)
- "Yes. We can't ignore this bond we both feel. She must feel it, too. And I want to explore what this could mean for all of us." (ugh way to ruin the book so predictable and so obvious, esp with how chapter 26 evolves like EVERYONE SAW THE WALK IN SCENE COMING LIKE PLEASE STOP)
- “Your breasts can swell up to twenty- five percent when aroused. Did you know that?” (I swear this is on the only thing I took away from this book and that nipple stimulation activates the same region of the brain you get from a clitoral, vaginal or cervical stimulation - still obvious though)
- “Stop trying to top from the bottom,” he says, nipping my shoulder. (Idk maybe give em a turn)
- I felt a panic attack coming, but I used the 5- 4- 3- 2- 1 coping technique my therapist taught me. I look for five things I can see, four things I can touch, three things I can hear, two things I can smell, and one thing I can taste. I've always had Noah or Caleb coax me through it, but today was the first time I managed it alone. (love free therapy mentions haha)

Smut moments (albeit few):
- “Eyes on me.”
- “Keep looking at us like that, little one, and there’ll be no going slow, even though you’re body probably still needs to recover. I’ll bend you over that bed and fuck you raw until you’re begging me to stop, and maybe not even then.”
- “You are the perfect temptress,” I say, reaching for her chin and capturing her mouth with mine.
- I pull back as Caleb moves her foot back to the floor, and then in one swift move, he grips her hip and spins her until she falls into his lap, her back to his chest. He moves her hair over one shoulder, giving him access to her throat.
- “You like being our dirty little slut, don’t you?” Oh my god.
- "Are you sorry, or are you so desperate to come you'd say anything in this moment?"

This book just didn't work for me. At all. Noah and Caleb takes Jessica under their wing after she's been abused and r*ped by her ex. They give her a room and she naps, eats, sleeps, and keeps to her room most of the time and they fall in love with her? What? There is no kind way to say this but what exactly are they falling in love with? She's got 0 personality other than saying please and thank you on autopilot?

And wth is this:

“Keep looking at us like that, little one, and there’ll be no going slow, even though you’re body probably still needs to recover. I’ll bend you over that bed and fuck you raw until you’re begging me to stop, and maybe not even then.”

^Who says that to a recovering r*pe victim???? And are they so horny for each other that they cannot not f*ck each other multiple times when they have a recovering r*pe victim in their house? I get it, it's their house, but again how are they comfortable doing that with a recovering r*pe victim in their house? Do people have no decency??

Noah and Caleb's already established relationship is written well. I don't think the attempt to bring Jessica in as an equally loved partner was successful. Noah and Caleb's love and connection just outshines Jessica and her involvement.

Finally, the book's climax just. I cannot. Jessica pulls a TSTL move; insisting on going alone to an appointment while her dangerous ex is on the loose. Caleb points out it's too dangerous but Jessica insists on going alone. What happens? It goes just about as well as you'd imagine 🤦‍♀️

Just okay

This book kind of felt like watching a bad reality TV show, where you see where everything goes wrong and yet are too invested to turn it off.
The book starts with a very heavy tone; dealing with Jessica running away from her abusive boyfriend who practically tried to end her. She turns to her brother's two friends on the account of her brother being unreachable. The book deals a lot with Jessica trying to work through her trauma and get back to who she used to be, adding in a polygamous relationship with her saviors.
Considering how dark the beginning was, the majority of book highlighted such a bubblegum perfect relationship, making it feel disconnected in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I thought their love was cute and the guys doing everything in their power to make sure she's taken care of was great, but it just felt lacking in depth for me and it almost felt rushed. I will say that all of the spicy scenes were great, though I do wish they went into more detail of their power dynamics before and then with Jessica.
The ending was disappointing; it felt almost glossed over and was done and solved within what felt like 10 pages, and they moved on way too fast.
Was it my favorite book? No. But did I hate it? Also no. I'd recommend this book to people looking for a spicy book featuring a throuple, with heavy themes.

***Please be awarded that there are scenarios and situations which may be triggers in this book.***
This book was emotional and heart wrenching at times. I have to admit that I had to pull out the box of tissues within reading the first two chapters. I was devastated for Jessica and all she’d been through! I was also amazed at her strength in getting out and finding help.
Noah and Caleb were more than just help, they were her saving grace. I loved not only their relationship, but how they folded Jessica into their lives and didn’t make her feel like a burden. Don’t even get me started on their combined chemistry with Jessica….hotter than Hades!!! I loved the pest names that both Noah and Caleb used for her! I found them sweet and endearing!
I became so wrapped up in their connection and growing feelings that I almost forgot about the threat that was still out there! The suspense was great, but the best part was how Jessica handled it all!
This was my first book by this author but definitely not the last! I loved this book so much and would love more from some of the other characters in this book! Maybe Elliot and River?!?
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest opinion.

This was just the purest blend of dark, traumatic, sexy, emotional, scary, heartbreaking, courageous, and beautiful.

I loved the sort of "slow burn" romance. Although it was anything but slow burn. The fact that the author took the time to help the MFC heal and be healed by the two MMCs was achingly perfect. They didn't just have forced proximity and then jumped into bed. They each took the time to fall in love or into intrigue with each other before they even decided to explore. I loved the way they protected her and helped her to feel safe and loved she took it upon herself to heal and become stronger.
I was a little frustrated with her not being able to get any information about her brother...well, right until the very end. I wished the author brought a little clarity on his were about a little sooner in the boom just to give her peace of mind. The confrontation between her brother and his friends was perfect where it it was - at the end. I just wanted her to have a little peace of mind while she was dealing with her pain and trauma.
But all that being said. I loved this.

Can I just start off by saying how stunning this cover is!?!? 😍😍

Jessica ends up on Caleb and Noah's door step one night after escaping from her abusive ex partner. She turns to these two as her brother trusts them implicitly and current tly her brother is missing. They don't recognise her at first because she is so badly beaten. They take care of her, help her heal, help her to learn to trust again and retake control of her life.

In the process they all fall for one another and what a journey it is. You see Jessica bloom in this book from starting off as a wilted flower on the guys door step at the beginning. It is beautiful to watch her become the woman she should be and be loved by people who only want the best for her ❤️

It's not an easy journey though as her ex is still on the lose and to be able to over come her fears she really has to dig deep. I loved this book and these characters, I'm hoping we get more! Well done Leila it's an amazing read! ❤️

Burn the world down

WOW what a beautiful story. The way Jessica is portrayed from being in an abusive relationship to a poly one is outstanding. She really got it right with the way a person is from being in an abusive relationship to the way she/he needs to feel about themselves in order to move on effectively. The love story between Caleb and Noah is on another level. The briefly live Mason had for his sister and the anger of friends being with her is palliative. However when Mason does finally realize the truth is their love he won't stand in the way, but will burn down the world's is they hurt her as they will burn down the world's is abusive else hurts her. I would greatly recommend this book, but do please remember the trigger warnings. However, from being in an abusive relationship in the past and reading this book out does make it seem that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

L.S. Pullen is an incredible writer! I cannot put into words how much I loved Saved By Two. It's easily up in my top reads.

Jessica's trauma was written so well that you can't help but feel for her and what's she's gone through cause of her ex. It was heartbreaking reading the first couple chapters of Saved By Two but the heartbreak was worth it in the end and I'd happily read this again.

One (or two) things that made this book the incredible story that it is is Noah and Caleb. I just loved them from their first chapters. It really showed from the pages how much they cared for Jessica and always supporting her and helping her take her life back.

Caleb the dominant man he is shows his caring side with Noah and Jessica. Noah always caring for Caleb and Jessica but will stick up for them without a second thought.

Jessica, Noah and Caleb's relationship work so well together they compliment each other so well.

Interesting story

I really liked this story, but there were a few things that caused it to only be a 4 star read for me. They mention their kinks as well as a regular attendance at a sex club with activities involving others, yet they never bring this up to Jessica or have any discussions. Caleb mentions exclusivity but follows with an inner thought that would indicate at least for now, and this made me uncomfy because they have never had any conversations with her about their kinks or about whether they'd continue to engage with others. I feel like this is something that should be discussed earlier, not after everyone is in love. The big time gaps were not helpful, but also there should have been some individual relationship building before she tries to leave. It's no wonder really that she was not secure in her place. She needed individual time with each person rather than everything being both of them together, because it puts her firmly on the outside.

Well this book had me well and truly hooked...

My heart was so shaken as to the situation Jessica initially finds herself in, and once she was in the care of Caleb and Noah, well these two me had me falling in love with them, as the time, care and tenderness they provide to Jessica from the beginning was breath-taking and at times intense.

And then of course the more they are all together they start feeling something different is happening between them, and things then certainly slowly start heat up.

This was a wonderful story to read, and although rather spicy throughout, it certainly doesn't take you away from the main themes raised, their feelings and how they become more and more protective of Jessica, particularly when her life is put at risk.

This book does have certain trigger warnings, so take time to go through them before you read this book, as there are dark moments raised throughout.

OMG I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START.
First of all why is it that the men in why choose romance are THIS PERFECT. Like Istg they are untouchable. CALEB AND NOAH are LITERALLY PERFECT. P. E. R. F. E. C. T.
I CAN'T EVEN EXPLAIN JUST HOW PERFECT THEY ARE GOD DAMN IT. If I could REALISTICALLY marry any book man it would be both of them. The level of communication was so refreshing and JUST WOW. When I tell you their whole dynamic was so so so healthy I mean it. These men were so fucking RESPECTFUL LIKE OH MY FUCKING GOD.
GO AND JUST READ IT. LIKE NOW.
Also more importantly the fmc Jessica and her healing journey was just rlly rlly interesting to read abt. She DESERVES sm. The way both Caleb and Noah helped her and at the end called her a warrior who saved herself and were SO AMAZED BY HER.
JUST GO AND FUCKING READ IT.

Honestly, I really loved the book. I didn’t expected to like it, but it was intriguing discovering the mechanism of the relationship between the three of them.
I liked that there wasn’t any excess in the personality of the characters (like super evil or machiavellic etc.) and that they could really exist and live like normal human beings in the everyday life.

What I did not enjoy was the fact that we don't really know a lot about them. We don't really know how they look like, what they do for a living (in detail) or even where they go and any surroundings. The action all take place in Caleb's and Noah's house and that's all we know. Actually we know more about the furniture than the characters appearence.

Is this a masterpiece of literature? Probably not, but is enjoyable and just the right amount of steamy 😏
