Weary of the hard life, rugged Charlie Durango is looking to settle down. So the handsome former bounty bunter agrees to an arranged marriage with lovely, headstrong Kate Maloney--provided he can tame the emerald-eyed hellion.
Beautiful as a western sunset but dangerous as a coiled rattler, dark-haired Kate enchants Charlie with her innocent sensuality and fiery spirit--then proceeds to put a ballet through his shoulder. But Charlie's pride and raging desire for the sultry, hot-tempered wildcat demand that he make her his own. He will enflame her with soul-searing kisses and drag her to the altar if necessary--to know the ecstasy of a love that is reckless, sensuous and wild.

I generally like western Romance novels. The gunslinger and the beautiful young woman who grew up on a ranch.
Kate Maloney was raised by her father; her mother died during childbirth. Kate had a huge chip on her shoulder throughout the story. She acted pretty spoiled.
Charlie Durango, the handsome bounty hunter, looking to finally settle down. Jeb Maloney, Kate's father, approaches Charlie with and offer he can't refuse. Bring home his wayward daughter, marry her, and he stands to inherit Jeb's ranch.
But what Charlie doesn't anticipate is just how headstrong Kate truly is. She tries to thwart him at every turn.

I don’t know why I abandoned this book earlier. I decided to give it another try—and I absolutely loved it.
The hero is amazing. He genuinely loves the heroine, while the heroine is incredibly stubborn and headstrong. Honestly, he is the perfect man for her.
The heroine is so strong-willed that even after the book ends, she’s still fighting with him—and he’s just smiling, happy that he’s got this feisty woman for life. I adored the ending. Thank goodness it showed that the heroine was not tamed. That’s what I call perfection: a man who loves you exactly for who you are.
I really enjoy books like this, where there’s no unnecessary other people drama—just the hero and heroine and their cute, engaging conflicts.
