This is the final book in the trilogy of The Fetish Queen. There are many things I liked about this book. The characters are a quirky crew who look to each other as a family. The heat that radiates from Lille and Max when they manage to get together and stop thinking. The only real complaint from me would be the storyline of Lille's father. It captures your attention in the first two books but I felt let down with the final results in this book. I expect more intrigue. As always I love a good HEA book and the author has given us this. It takes tragedy or a mishap to final bring Lille and Max around to admitting what can be. I enjoyed this series along with the original "The Fetish Box",. The author has thrown truly kinky characters our way and has made them work. Life is not always made up of what society deems normal people and I loved that these ones where far of the path of normal. I look forward to more from this author in the future.

Ok, Part 2 didn't do much for me. Maybe it was because there was too much detail in description or that it was a shorter story line. Anyway up until the end when Max & Lillie came into it I wasn't feeling it. Part 3 begins where Part 2 left off and though it rapped up all the loose ends in regards to Lillie's father, her & Max's feelings towards each other and the whole Fetish Queen situation. The story lacked depth.

Max though witty and a smart-ass Irishman, also fell short I feel as a hero. When Lillie was attack it was John who stepped in. Also there didn't seem to be any real anguish between Lillie and Max should their relationship dissolve though Lillie wasn't sure of her ability to have a relationship. I don't know what I expected, but it started off good and slowly disintegrate. The banter wasn't bad, but it wasn't enough to save the story. And that girl Kim just killed it completely. Sorry wasn't great.

Okay, I enjoyed this small novella series, but am curious if this is the last in this series with Max and Lillie? I really wonder. I mean her passed has caught up with her. She is trying to get a grip of her life. Make it work between her friends and her new life. The fact Max is in it now is not comforting to her at all! Max and Lillie are both so stubborn and stuck in their ways. They each have baggage and life has not been fair to either of them. Each not wanting commitments. They have crazy chemistry that is well written. It is felt through out the read. Just would like to see how their relationship works out for them now that her dad is involved and wanting to try somewhat to protect her after all these years running. Was a good fast read wanted more, but that is a good thing!

It’s sad that I just finished the final installment, and had to wait this long to realize, I didn’t care for the story. It was interesting but it was almost too much for too little. If they kept the focus on Lillie being the Fetish Queen, I might have enjoyed it more, but we got into characters comings and goings, and it just was a little too much. Luckily they were all short reads, and I am really bummed I was all excited after the first part but instead of it getting better it just went the opposite way. I feel bad for giving such a low rating, but it was what I felt.

3 Max Loving Stars!!

This is my review of the series as a whole.

eARC for Honest Review from Pocket Star via NetGalley

The Fetish Box brings a whole world of drama. After the gang deals with the aftermath attack in The Fetish Box , Mary's friend Lillie comes by to help manage the story.

This wasn't a typical porn shop, which mostly left Kim
feeling dirty and a little sad; this was a celebration of sex and
sensuality, a riot of freedom and fun and fantasy.

It should be an easy transition but once Lillie meets Max it is nearly combustable. Lillie has a past and doesn't like to lay roots. Max has his own demons and doesn't trust any woman so the easiest solution would be to stay away from each other.

Once Lillie and Max start exploring they can not stay away from each other no matter how much they try.

Gorgeous.Pain-in-the-ass. Woman. Max didn't know whether to spank her or toss her out of the bar. He was angry. He knew he was angry, nut he couldn't think past the lust that crashed over him. He was leaning towards
spanking her because she was the most beautiful feckin' thing he'd ever
seen in his life, ...

As Lillie tries to drum up more business for the box it also causes her
past to catch up with her. With her past she believes she is cursed. What she didn't expect was this new group of friends to have her back and love her no matter what.

" I think it's a part of you. The thing about curses, my beautiful friend, is that they're often of our own making."

The chemistry between Lillie and Max is explosive and vulnerable.

The story and drama were good. I read the parts consecutively which I think made the story better for me instead of having to wait for each
installment. The ending I wanted a bit more. It all lead up to this
big deal with her past and then you think there is going to be a big
holy shit moment and then its just done and moved on. All in all. Good
quicky sexy drama filled read.

Title: The Fetish Queen Part 3: Cursed
Author: Nicole Camden
Publisher/Year: Pocket Star 5/5/14
Length: 107 Pages
Series: The Fetish Queen #3

Overview

In the final chapter in the daring, sexy Fetish Queen series, Lille finds the place she belongs for the first time in her life, but she can’t escape the fear that her dark past will ruin everything…

Unnerved by the sheer force of her desire for Max, Lille retreats into managing the Fetish Box, making sure that it’s a success. The online documentary she stars in becomes more and more popular, bringing business to the store and danger to Lille. When she’s nearly killed at Jobman’s pub, Lille begins to believe that she might truly be cursed, bringing danger to all she loves.

Does she run away again, giving up her new life in order to stay safe, or does she take a chance, possibly endangering them all? She doesn’t want to leave. She’s learning what it means to be a Fetish Queen, and it is love, not fear, that gives her strength. But what Max and her friends don’t realize is that Lille is willing to do anything…anything…to save them all.

My Thoughts

Well, we knew things were going to come to a head in this final installment, given the sexual tension, chemistry and anxiety that Lillie and everyone was living under. When we left off in book 2, Lillie had contacted the man in Vegas an learned that he was working for her father, and things with Max were growing to be more than either were expecting or wanted and all that led to a lot of complications. On top of that, Lillie was really worried that her father was going to come and do harm, and that she was going to have to run.

So what we get in this final installment is the culmination of a lot of things. We get to see where the relationship goes with Lillie and what's nice is that we see her make the choice to walk away. The question is of the two (Lillie or Max), who is going to be the one to push more to stay? At least while they try to sort that all out, we get some heated steamy scening. All necessary in this genre.

There's also something that was somewhat a surprise that i really appreciated. We get a surprise visitor in this book that i for one was not expecting. This person leads to a chapter of tension and you don't know exactly what's going to happen. Someone gets hurt - that's for sure.

We continue to see the video series gain popularity, making Lillie even more famous which is a good and bad thing - and makes it harder for her to make the clear choice to run away when things get complicated. I have to admit though, things were resolved in a nice and tidy bow, and that's maybe not what this story needed.

Similar to what i found with book 2, there seems to be one big flaw here. We learn a bit more about Lillie's father in this book, and some things that he says should be foreshadowing for the future of the story, yet given that this was supposedly the final installment, it was left out there with nothing more to come. I feel like there's a lot of unfinished business that's really significant and it was just dropped.

Anyhow - all in all, not a bad ending to the story - just nothing earth moving to it either. I think that the passion was there, the chemistry even more so, and the heat keeps you interested enough - at least it did it for me. Enjoy!

I SO wanted to love this series of stories, there was wonderful potential promised in the title. Sadly, by the time I got to the final installment of the series, the holes in plotting trajectory, character development and reasoning behind it all fell far short of my expectations.

Lilli is enjoying her moment in the sun, but when her secret seems to endanger her in ways that never quite seemed to fit with the secret’s revelation – she has to decide if standing and fighting or running is the answer.

Missing for me was Max as a hero, when Lilli is threatened, his attraction only goes so far and he isn’t interested in continuing to be her punching bag, or involve himself further. There should have been, after the obsessional overthink from these two, some sort of loss or remorse in the end, and there wasn’t. Too many people that are only half-built and introduced for convenience just kept me wondering where this was going.

I’m glad it’s over: a great premise lost to a lack of solid editing and story construct. Not horrible, not great – just a passable read that missed the wonderful potential hinted at from the title.

I’ve read erotica that spans the gamut from truly horrible to absolutely fantastic. The only difference between the two is the author’s ability to develop a character and their sexuality in new and unique ways, while managing to not allow their own personal reactions, hang-ups, or predilections interfere in taking the scenes into new and different territory. Part of that responsibility is the author – the other part lies with editing and demanding a push, a tweak or even a rewrite when the story lags, fails or seems lost. All of that was missing here, and what results is a passable story for the uninitiated erotic reader who prefer endless drama and a touch of steam.

Overall – this is a 2.5 – 3 star read for the series – OK but not great.

I received an eBook copy from the publisher via NetGalley for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

In the final installment of this series, Lille and Max are still ‘dancing’ around their attraction for each other. Neither wanting to give up and commit to a real relationship. After their last encounter, the two have avoided putting themselves into any situation that would lead them back into one another’s arms.

As the Fetish Box is thrown further into the spotlight, danger finds a way to rear it’s head. Lille finds herself the object of affection for many people that she did not expect. With the increase in incidents, Lille begins to wonder is she is putting her friends in danger by staying at the Fetish Box.

With thoughts of fleeing the uncomfortable feelings she feels for Max, Lille is faced with demons of her past. As new revelations come to light, Lille finds that Max will protect her at all costs. Will this be enough to finally let someone into her heart? Or will this be the final straw that causes Lille to flee from the only family she has ever known?

This final book in the Fetish Queen series seemed to fall a little ‘flat’. Don’t get me wrong - there was plenty of chemistry in the book. I feel the relationship between Lille and her long lost father was a plot twist that was woven intricately throughout the series, but fell short in the final book. There was so much potential to create more mystery and intrigue with this storyline. The relationship between Lille and Max was also something that could have been elaborated on in more depth. Overall, this book in the series just left me with more questions than resolution.

After quite liking part one of the Fetish Queen trilogy and liking part two even more, I have to say that this third part of the trilogy, in which Lille resolves her feelings for Max and finally confronts her gangster father, didn't really do it for me. The drama just fell flat as did the romance. All through the three books, the main drama comes from Lille spending her life running away from her father, and that is resolved in this book in a way where nothing really happens. There's no grand climax or showdown or anything - that part of the plot just fizzles out. Even the kidnapping and the part of the story promoted in the blurb that states that Lille is nearly killed just sort of comes to nothing. Far to much of the story is taken up by the character of Kim (who I didn't get or relate to in any way) just filming staged conversations, and the romance between Max and Lille just sort of flops about. There's a happy ending which I liked, but it felt very stage-y and just too convenient when I read it. This is just such a shame as after the last book in this series, I had such high hopes for the conclusion of this trilogy. It's also a shame because I really enjoyed Camden's The Nekkid Truth which I read before this.
I did like finally getting all the loose threads in this story resolved, but the ending just fell flat for me. 2 stars.

This is the third in a three part series by Nicole Camden ( Fetish Queen Series).

In the third installment we learn more about whats going on at the Fetish Box since the videos were posted of her drunken adventure on the beach. Lillie has decided to tell John and Mary her huge secret about her dad and her previous name. They have promised to keep her to secret and help keep her safe because she doesn't know if her dad is trying to find her and harm her.

Max is still terribly attracted to Lillie and he just doesn't know what to do about it. He knows Lillie is hiding stuff behind her very tough and domineering exterior. He is just trying to decide how to break it down and when. He finally decides how to do it when all hell break loose and lilies past starts haunting here.

I enjoyed the book and the characters of max and lille and i also liked the sub characters of john and mary. I do wish there was a few less additional other character in the book. I feel like this made the book a little hard to follow at times just because i was trying to keep things straight.

I recommend this book to readers of erotica that also like series books and are interested in trying a new author.

Sorry but this series doesn’t seem to be for me at all. It’s basically insta love and it’s bad insta love. I’m making my final review short and sweet because I’ve spent enough time on these books as it is.

Kim and Jordan seem have a great story line to me but I’m not sure I’d read anything from this author again cause I was so BORED with this series.

I’m sorry I really did try to find the good in the books. My husband was so tired of me whining about them that when I was half way through book two he was all, “put it down and tell them you can’t finish it, PLEASE!”.

I love how tough times can make or break people. In the case of the people at the Fetish Box they look adversity in the eye, deal with it, and grow closer and closer together. This group, with all of it’s diverse personalities, comes together as a close knit family that you know will always be there for one another. Lille is willing to leave behind everything and everyone she loves to keep them safe from her past. But her friends would rather fight for her then let her go anywhere.

I’m happy Max and Lille find themselves able to admit and accept the future of their relationship. I’m glad Lille was able to confront her past and lay it to rest, although I felt there could have been some more action there. Writing a book with the perfect combination of romance and action is tough; one plot point usually ends up taking a back seat to the other. This book did a good job highlighting both, but the romance and friendship definitely won out.

This collection of books was fun to read. I am glad that I had access to all three at the same time because I much prefer reading a story from start to finish in one sitting.

The third, and as far as I'm aware, final part of the Fetish Queen saga. While I felt the second piece of the trilogy stagnated, Camden definately stepped up the action in part three. More sex, more violence, more drama, more to love. I have to say, without giving anything away, the drama mainly came from a source I wasn't expecting. I appreciate being surprised, plot twists are not something you generally find in erotica. The main characters finally grew, making them less whiney and more likeable. My only disappointment was feeling like the story left the rather large subplot of Lillie's father unfinished. Maybe it's a sign for an upcoming fourth novel? Although you're not going to walk away from these books having gained much in the way of knowledge or an emotional experience you will gain a fun (in my case snowy) day of lighthearted reading. Definately recommend for anyone looking for an easy read escape with a little sex and a little mystery.

Blond, buxom, and bold, this fetish queen has 50s style and class with a kink of the most extravagant porn star.

The ultimate pin-up girl Lillehammer Marceaux (Lille) has arrive in Florida to be the Fetish Queen of the Fetish Box. I have to say that I wanted much more than I got and I was a bit disappointed. But Max and Lillie delivered on the explosive erotic scenes. This made the read acceptable for me.

Lilie's life was looking for ways to catch her and it did with her unwanted notoriety. She enjoys the box and has great ideas to drum up business. For me this last and final installment gives me closure to Lillie's life and past but not much on her and Max. I found the story line to be lacking in spots and overkill in others.

I believe place all three parts in one book would make a reader feel like they are getting there money's worth. Just my opinion.

Running from the Russian Mafia and a vindictive father, Sarah becomes Lille by changing her identity and using fake papers her mother had secured to ensure her safety. How Lille survives and endures, is a story in itself.

Now, after recently moving to Hollywood, Florida, to help her best friend save her business, perhaps Lille will be able to find the peace she seeks so fervently.

I really enjoyed reading this story. As Lille becomes an Internet sensation through reality videos shot at the store The Fetish Box, life returns to complicated and full of danger. To top is off, there is something about her and Max the owner of the local pub. Attraction does not fully explain how drawn they are to each other.

This review applies to all three installments of this series. Do not let the title misguide you. Yes she runs a fetish shop, yes there is some mild BDSM, but the storyline and the lovers' courtship is worth reading and appealing.

This final novella brings the trilogy to an end of sorts!! Whilst we continue with the relationship between Lille and Max, I did want to bang their heads together in places as it was quite clear that they liked/lusted after one another.

We are taken on a roller coaster of a ride in more ways than one. The characters are well drawn and the extra characters are nstrumental to the story.

The fnal novella continues on with the next chapter following the end of part two and moves on seamlessly. I did feel that the ending was a little rushed though.

Looking back over the whole series of books they all make an enjoyable story and I gave them all includng this one a 6/10.

I still feel that the series would have been better as one full length story rather than the three novellas.

The author started this novel exactly where the other left off which more than ever suggests that this book would have been better if it has been left as one book. Having read my way through two other equally lessor quality book the ending of this one leaves us wondering … was all that effort just for this. Or is it just another part of a serial? A good editor would have made this mediocre, at best, novel into something more likeable.

Unfortunately, this novel does not take us anywhere new. The same old characters with the same old mediocre sex scene that plods along and does not ignite anything for anyone.

I do not feel able to recommend these novels or any future work that this author may produce. One’s time would be better spent reading someone else.

Loved this book! Lille is falling hard Max but even she is deluding herself that she can't. Max is so angry at his how much he needs Lille that he is taking out on everyone around him. Lille's dad is attempting to contact her which she fears to the point of leaving again and getting a new name. Max has to stop her and make her see that she can trust him once and for all.

This final addition was written so well that I would read all three again. They could have all been put into one book however. They were all short reads but combined it equal one full length novel.

The characters were fantastic and the plot was also. I loved the ending even though it was very predictable. How the author set it out and wrote it made all the difference.

This is the final in a series of three novellas, focused on The Fetish Queen. It does not and is not meant to, stand alone. This installment completes the story and I found it interesting and well written. The characters are engaging and their chemistry is apparent. It's short, sassy and an easy read. Nicole Camden has offered readers a good premise, interesting characters, and an overall well plotted story. I found myself engaged in the suspense aspects of book three and it moved along really quickly to a satisfying conclusion.

I was asked to review from Netgalley. Well what can I say about the final part of this trilogy, the characters were kinda rushed with the ending. I could of screamed at Lille and Max about how much they were so alike and in love with each other, that you could see where you wanted the characters to head, but they were like nope we are gonna hate each other lol. I still feel that the story was left open to more happening with the other characters. I still want to know what happened to Lille's dad as well.

Can't wait to read more by this author and see what else she has in store for her readers.

Well this didn't end like I thought it would. The third installment definitely went emo on me. Didn't see the scene with Paul coming, even though I knew he was a dentist. The conclusion didn't really finish the story for me it just added some more questions. So overall the book went downhill, from a shockingly great start. I was really into the whole female dominant until she turned into an emotional mess. So entertainment value tanked from my perspective but the story finished, overall whole book....three stars. I have not read the first 2 books in the series but I really did not enjoy this book.
Lillie manages the Fetish Box and is part of the documentary which starts putting her life in danger. When her ex shows up with a gun in the bar her and her friends are she does not know what she should do. She does not want anyone to be in danger because of her but it's her business. Her and Max are still attracted to each other but he does not really play a roll in saving her and I guess I was looking for him to be the hero in the end.

THE FETISH QUEEN, part 3: Cursed is the finale in the serial. Lille has been living a lie. She's hidden behind a facade of the femme fatale, but she's never been able to trust or love. Her feelings for Max and her friends keep her longing for a future, but she's afraid her past will put them in danger.

It took a few detours but made it to an HEA. I am still not a big fan of the serial format, but I plan on keeping Ms. Camden on my to be read list.

This is where you enter the pouty face. Part 2 didn't do anything for me. But part 3 finally had the story coming to a point. Lille has finally let her past come out to her friends and "family". Her father has found her, and things with Max are coming to a head.

What I really hate about mini series is that some parts are good, some are okay, and just when it gets good it ends. To me this series feels unfinished. The face off with her father and just accepts Max. Really? It felt tooo something.

This portion garned a 1 star. I wish these books were more interesting than the synopsis. Seriously, you'd be okay if you just read those. Call it a success.

I don't even feel bad about giving away spoilers.

So, her gangster father tracked her down and offered her his family business. Didn't listen to my advice about those YouTube videos did she? But no, she loves her fetish shop and Max (but heaven forbids anyone can admits that).

I can't even write a review. I'm pretty sure I skimmed through this.

The end of Fetish Queen is exactly what it is the end. I felt very disappointed in this book. Don’t get me wrong the sex between Max and Lille was hot. Yet to me it just lacked that real romance between the characters. I felt more for John and Mary then these two main characters. All in all I know the book was BDSM and SEX but still for me not worth reading. Not enough story lines for me and wanted more from Max then occasional sex romps. Hoping Nicole Camdens new one will be better.

parts 1-3 all read together.

hot, fun read just like the original series "The Fetish Box". Lille & Max weren't together near as much as they should have been, but when the two of them did manage to get their shit together - they were HOT!

I don't think the door to The Fetish Box was completely closed at the end of this one, so maybe/hopefully we'll get more :)

Another well written hot little read. It had a mildly exciting plot with some fiesty characters.
I still think this would have been better as a novel rather than a serial. I don't think we get enough time individually to see the characters develop.
I'm looking forward to reading more from these characters though. I'm sure Jordan or Carls story will be next

I hoped there would be more plot development in the final part of this series. I think there was room for much more. After all the hype of her father being involved with the Russian Mob and dangerous their meeting up was very unsatisfactory, she just said no to him and that was it. Would it really pan out so easily? I was disappointed with the end.
an ok read but with the plot basics I think it could have been improved vastly.
