Cold Summer

" Cold Summer" by Amaleka McCall introduces us to Summer Hammond. After a rough childhood, Summer has finally found her happily ever after with businessman J.B. Things heat up however when,on their wedding day, J.B is viciously gunned down. Now with nowhere to turn, Summer quickly discovers that the man she married was not who she thought he was.
"Cold Summer" started off great. I was immediately pulled in from the first scene. Everyone had their own agendas and was suspect number one even Summer. It was hard to really identify with or like any of the characters except for Billy.I must admit at times I felt there was no real connection between J.B and Summer. I would have loved to see more flashbacks so that she wouldn't have come across so... well, cold. The ending was definitely unexpected. Overall, I'm looking forward to reading part 2 and finding out what happens next.

Review- Cold Summer
I just finished reading a book called Cold Summer. It was written by Amaleka McCall. This is my first time to reading from this author. I have take my time to reading this book. It is a well written and well concept.
Amaleka McCall introduces her readers to Summer Hammond Banks. Summer Hammond didn't have a good childhood. She has finally to be happily married with her businessman JB but their married were heat up because JB has gunned down on their wedding day. Mitch is a something else. Billy is loyal to Summer.
This book is an amazing but it was slow. Miss. McCall did a good job. This author and book deserved five stars from me. I'm looking forward to read part 2 of this book. Also, I'm looking forward to read another book from this author.

cold word cold summer
I wish Jesse and summers relationship was a little bit longer I never trusted Mitch or doon both got snake written all over them . I felt bad for Tanya she didn't deserve that .. Didn't like summer and billy hooking up Can't wait to see what happen in part 2

Took me a while to read this book.. I stopped reading it and recently went back to it. I loved it! Summer is one could bitch but with good reason. Mitch is a bitch for that ending. I can't wait for part two of course. #owlsupporter

This book made no sense, it was all over the place, after finishing I'm still unsure of what the story was about.There will be a part 2 maybe the story would finally start in that book

I can't wait to see what's going to happen in Cold Summer 2. Amaleka McCall didn't disappoint readers with this joint. I definitely recommend you pick it up!
