The Student, part 2 picks up after the cliff-hanger ending of part 1. Damien and Sabrina must keep their relationship hidden for another couple of weeks until the end of the semester. Secrets revealed and trust issues plague their journey. And a nosy friend, inquisitive families and vindictive admirers all complicate matters.
Add to that the fact that their BDSM relationship is evolving! The sex is scorching, but feelings are entering the picture, at least for one of them.

I’m really enjoying this series! I feel like everything is improving as the story progresses! The dialogue still felt stilted at times, but it might be more tied into the pet names used in their Dom-Sub relationship.
Interesting plot! Captivating Dom hero! Scorching sex! A fast-paced, erotic and feel-good read!

WOW things are surely heating up more in this book . We get a little more info on secrets that Sabrina had, as well as we see these two getting closer together. Yes this ends in a cliffhanger like The professor did , but it is not as dramatic of a cliffhanger as The Professor was, BUT it still ends in one and I want Josie to write faster and finish Book #3 now hahahhaa
This one goes alot more into the world of BDSM to with more scenes and etc then the last one. You also see the feelings that are truly starting to come out between Sabrina and Damien.
Can I just say that I want to Bitch slap Celeste and I know the next book is going to be her doing something that she is planning in that Botox head of her's.
I can not wait till Book #3 The Widow

I have connected with these characters and had to remind myself that telling them they are being blind to the truth is falling on deaf ears! Josie Leigh's "dirty little books" make great reading, thanks to her creatively wicked genius!! (Just don't tell my mother,I said that, okay?)

Josie Leigh has hooked me again with the second installment of The Professor series, The Student. After being left with a cliffhanger in The Professor, I was anxiously awaiting to see what will happen next between Damien, Sabrina, and Celeste. I couldn't wait to dive right back in to the world full of secrets and forbidden love.

We left off with Celeste letting herself in to Damien's home to surprise him only to find out she was interrupting a scene between Damien and Sabrina. During this intrusion from Celeste, Damien discovers a secret that Sabrina was keeping, that creates a hiccup in their relationship. How can Damien trust his sub if she has been keeping secrets from him?
"She'd never felt the need to be possessed full-time by her Dom, but she wanted to serve her Professor with every breath in her body."
Even after having to sneak around until the semester ends when Sabrina is no longer Damien's student, and even after that bitch Celeste keeps trying to get in between them, their love for each other continues to grow stronger. Damien is a pure Dom in and out of the bedroom, and you could tell that he had these huge walls up, and Sabrina slowly chipped away at them and finally reached his heart, just like a good submissive should always do. We do get another cliffhanger at the end of THE STUDENT, but it gives you enough to keep you satisfied and just plain make you smile. I truly enjoy reading about these two characters and I can't wait to read the next installment. I'm dying to find out what Celeste's next move is going to be. I recommend this series for those of you who enjoy short, sexy reads, full of mystery and some pretty freakin' hot scenes between a stern Dom and his obedient submissive.

Please read this review ONLY if you have read Book 1 - The Professor!
This is such a brilliant series! Even though the books are short, there is a lot of flesh to the story and to the characters. In the first installment we were left with a cliffhanger of Celeste letting herself into Damien's house (without permission) while the professor and his student were right in the middle of a "scene". This second installment picks up exactly where the last one left off. We learn something interesting about Sabrina that throws Damien for a loop and ends up throwing a speed bump into their new relationship. It doesn't last long though and both Damien and Sabrina get back on track and things progress. You begin to really see a solid relationship developing and feelings for one another are getting stronger. I love Damien and Sabrina, they compliment eachother so nicely. Both characters have extremely likeable personalities and I find that very refreshing. This second book is left with a minor cliffhanger, but it was a cute one. I don't want to give it away, but I will say that while book 1 left me gasping at the end....book 2 left me smiling!! I can't wait for book 3. I know that damn Celeste is up to something and that spells trouble for the professor! I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for quick, sexy, fun read! This little treasure has it all!

Loved It!! Josie Leigh knows how to hook her readers..This book had to be devoured and finished in one sitting!! The Student picks up where it last left off in the first book, The Professor. The chemistry and relationship of Damien and Sabrina starts to heat up and progress. Damien is pure Dom and slowly Sabrina is finding her way to his heart. Love Damien and Sabrina!! They perfectly balance one another. I can't wait to find out what happens next when she's no longer his student in the next installment and what drama Celeste is going to stir up.

Well this series just gets better and better. I am falling fast for the Professor, he can tie me up any day, lol. I really love Damion and Sabrina's interactions. I mean I love to read hot sex, but it is better when you see a romantic connection and I defiantly see that between the professor and his student. Can't wait to read the next installment. Glad I bought all four so no waiting. A must read for BDSM lovers.

This picks up exactly where The Professor ended. While I would have preferred to have all four parts in one book, each installment is long enough to make it feel as though it was worth it. I am skeptical about their "cute meet" story and how they planned to cover it up, but I am sure that all will come to be known in the next books. I enjoyed this and look forward to The Widow.

After being told I needed to read the rest of the story I found this book slightly better. There are small threads of plot development that are interesting but I still find it rushed, shallow character development and clunky to read.
