Where was this book when I was in high school?! Very useful for understanding how to sneak past the 1541's Interface Processor and submit your own jobs to the Floppy Disk Controller. Here's a disk image with all the book's type-in programs: http://youdzone.com/c64/insideCommodo...

Too bad there's no modern successor to this text to cover 2-bit ATN protocols and other tricks developed after 1984. Still, it's a great reference, and it's relatively easy to track down physical copies.
