The following quote from Angel Unleashed explains the relationship between Jake and Liadin perfectly:
"There was just something about her riled and spitting mad that turned him the fuck on."
Jake and Liadin where so funny together with the things they said and did to each other. I loved the way Liadin responded to Jake's comments and the way he constantly tormented her. Angel Unleashed was yet another great addition to a series that I continue to look forward to each new release. It had everything that I have grown to love about Andris and her writing.
Liadin is a little less snarky than Joey but she is still such a fun character. I love how feisty and strong and smart she was. Jake~love a dirty talker *sigh* I kind of felt sorry for Jake and all that he had been through. I wanted these two to get their HEA so bad and I loved reading their struggle to finally get it. Jake and Liadin where perfect for each other.
I LOVED LOVED LOVED seeing more of Joey and Ursus!! So cute!! And I absolutely ADORED the direction Andris is taking their relationship!! I am so looking forward to reading their continuing story.
Angel Unleashed was such an entertaining read with a great H/h and an even better ending especially the epilogue. Andris seems to have a pattern with her endings of leaving me looking forward to more and I cannot wait for the next book.
The only thing that I really missed was more sex scenes. What I mean by that is that sex scenes bring a certain intimacy between the characters and I just wanted a little more of that intimacy between Jake and Liadin. I am so looking forward to reading more about them in the next book also.

All right last I finished Andris Bear's latest release from her Deadly Sins Novel which happens to be Angel Unleashed. Have you ever read a story that consumes so much that you find yourself dreaming yourself into the story. Yep, this would be my case. Honestly, this has happen only a couple of times. Now you are wondering what my thoughts are about this story since I have been dreaming myself into the story. Here we go:
Detective Jacob Ryder has survived death and is on a special mission. Yet, he has no clue what he's up against or what his special mission. Plus, he is so lucky to get stuck with an angel who is unhappy with her current assignment, which is to keep him alive to fulfill his mission.
Jake cracks me up. Not in the funny way, more like oh my gosh I totally didn't see that coming. When you first start the story Jake is more brooding hero type. However when he's around Liadin (the angel), she tends to bring out his naughty side. Here are a few examples:
"Don't let this pretty face fool you. I can be ridden all night and not wear out."
or
"Yeah. Like sour-patch candies. The first taste makes you pucker, but then you hit the sweet spot and can't stop licking all that sugary goodness off your fingers."
Bad, bad, bad boy. Not only that he's modest too:
"Yep. I'm brawn, charm, and brains. You're lucky to have me."
Then you have Liadin, who isn't a guardian angel, but more archangel. However, she has been given an assignment to watch over Jake. As she gets to know Jake she starts, she has a hard time separating being an angel and possible feelings for him.
I really liked the story. We continue to have the battle of good verses evil and how we are one step closer to the final battle. I love the relationship between Jake and Liadin. Boy they get into hot and heavy. Other than that you truly see witty, charming and sarcastic at it's finest in Angel Unleashed. So, you love angels and a hot bad detective you might want to get yourself a copy of Angel Unleashed.
Let me leave you with my all time favorite line:
“Don’t think of it as an order, more like a mandatory suggestion.”

What a FANTASTIC follow up to the first book. While I missed Chamos (He is SOOOO sexy), I was pleasantly surprised with the new characters and found myself as intrigued with them as I was with the characters in the first book. Luckily we DO see some Joey and Ursus so not to worry - they aren't completely out of the book! I know it sound cliche, but the book really DID make me laugh AND cry. I LOVE it when a book does that. When I say laugh I mean giggle uncontrollably to where I had to put the book down and then I mean cry until I was snotty and ugly. It's just that good. Andris Bear makes you give a damn about the characters and that is a special and God given talent. Just as with the last book - I am anxiously awaiting the next installment! CAN NOT WAIT! LOVE this series! If you like Paranormal Romance in general, you can't miss with these books. Andris Bear

I have been waiting for the sequel to Angel Unborn and the wait was well worth it. Andris Bear has a writing style that sucks me in. Probably the biggest compliment I can pay to this story is that it is not often I find a book that I'm compelled to read every single word. I'm a fast reader and sometimes skim. I didn't do that once with this book because her writing is fluid and highly engaging. On top of that, she builds an amazing world where humans, angels and demons have to co-exist. She paints vivid descriptions and it makes me feel like I'm standing in the middle of the scene. Jake and Lia were amazing and this book was steamier than the last one, which I like!!! If you like steamy paranormal romance, hot angels, hot detectives and a lot of demon butt-kicking...this book is for you. Just loved it!

This book was so good, it was fast paced, the chemistry between the main characters Jake and Lia is so good!! Jake is a true hero and so sexy. Lia is so spunky and a warrior angel with a soft side no one else sees till Jake. I could almost picture them which is one of the things I look for in a book, besides the laugh out loud moments or times you want to cry. This book makes you feel their pain and happiness. Also it is spciy hot!
What more could you want from a book. I can't wait for the next book in this series. They just keep getting better.

I love Jake! Sexy, witty, sarcastic, and willing to let a woman take the lead because he's going to make sure she never forgets he's a real man. From the suspenseful opening scene to the end, Bear writes a sexy romance that will have you laughing out loud and biting your nails at the same time. The awesome third book in her Deadly Sins Series is Bear's best work yet. And you don't even have to read the first two books to enjoy it. But why wouldn't you?

Another good book.
I liked the fact that the book was written from both characters point of view witch I wish the author had done so with the first book. Overall another great book, I'm looking forward to next one.

The second novel in the series was a great addition. A lot of action and we do see some of the same
characters along with new. The story is completely different and fresh. Great Book

I loved this book couldn't put it down. the characters were great, the story was very easy to follow. can't wait to read the next one.
