Memoir: Death Spasm of the Sun

Rate this book
The found chapbook of an unnamed, queer poet version of Howard Hughes, inflected by the swagger of Drake, Jon Leon and a post-capital collapse. Accelerationism as poetry.

First-person vignettes from the life of a billionaire playboy gay poet, basking in luxury and artifice, drinking deeply of speed and eternity. I assume this is exactly what L.A. is like. At least perfect dystopian L.A.

a sense of deja vu

A memoir-in-flash that explores the following conceit: what if poetry were to become economically viable and a West Coast libertine were to exploit this unlikely development to its fullest and most decadent potential. Amusingly acidic.
