Another great graphic memoir ("comic essays" in Japanese) from Takagi Naoko. While not strictly necessary I would recommend reading マラソン一年生 first, as that's where we first meet her coworkers and running buddies.
Takagi spends her second year running going to all kinds of events - 10ks, scenic half marathons, cheering on friends at the Tokyo Marathon, and running her second full marathon on the picturesque island of Yoron in Kagoshima Prefecture.
Being a series of back to back races I missed reading about her training and tips and tricks from Coach Kin, but oh well. Eminently enjoyable and just the thing for runners and competitive people of any sort.
