She started writing short stories and poems in elementary school, basically as soon as she picked up a pencil. I give this book 3 stars.....
For years Florian has been taking the law into her own hands and delivering justice to all the criminals that escaped legal consequences. After her own sister was raped and murdered she accepted an assassin job and began taking orders to kill those that no longer deserved to be in society. Florian was counting down her missions until she trained her replacement and then could relocate and retire to a normal life again. Everything changes from the moment she meets her shy, withdrawn, and very good looking neighbor Jordan.
Once she learns about his past and secrets she wonders if he can handle hers. However, everything gets more complicated when she opens her next mission and she is staring into the eyes she has grown to trust and seek comfort in. Will she carry out her mission or will this make her doubt everything she has believed in the past five years?
The Secretary is the woman who trained Florian as her replacement five years ago. She lost her daughter to a sexual predator years before and has taken the justice system into her own hands. Florian never doubted her assignments and not once regretted the punishment system they had in place. She felt she was saving lives by taking out one miserable life at a time. However, the Secretary is not just a powerful woman with a grudge from the past. She is Secretary of Homeland Security and Florian is not sure who she can trust to keep safe.
Jordan works for the government and knows his ways around technology. His quiet ways almost make it shocking when he reveals to her that he works for the FBI. This is revealed at the same time two FBI agents approach Florina, real name Arianna, and tell her and Jordan they must leave with the FBI for their own safety and protection. Arianna has no idea what kind of an asset Jordan is to the FBI, until they realize one of the FBI agents work for the secretary. Jordan and Arianna escape with the one trustworthy agent, Argento.
Agent Vince Argento had emotions in his dark eyes every time he looked at Arianna. She was not sure what those emotions were, but she knew she needed to avoid them. She should avoid them. She wanted Jordan and didn't want her desire for another man's touch to change that. Argento would do anything to protect Arianna and has no problem withholding his wants and needs to her. She was more than just a case and he would find a way to protect her. His past and secrets would only draw them together with a stronger bond.
Fate and dark secretive pasts make these three people more alike then they could imagine.
I have to be honest that I am not a huge fan of strong female characters, however, this was different. Different, good. The book also went places I don't usually care for in a book, but it was done tastefully. I will not give away too much....
Melissa Silvey pulls you into a story with romance, guns, politics, and more. She knows how to deliver revenge and hot romance. .Will Arianna be safe with Jordan or Argento and will she find a way to escape the Secretary and her old way of life?

If I loved Room for Three, I liked this one a bit less. Few reasons for that.
First, I found it very confusing the change of POV one paragraphe to the next. Then I thought equality was not there. She definitely loved one guy better than the other although she professed her love to both.
However, I loved that the heroine is the bad guy. I loved the genius character and I loved the scortched FBI one. All together was truly great.
This said, it is not a menage but a triangle with some menage sex scenes but not really. Some MM action but not really either.
This is obviously a trilogy with HFN endings... kinda.

This book sucked me in right from the beginning. Florian is an executioner. She is hired by someone to kill sex offenders and rapists. She feels a pull to her quirky neighbor, Jordan. The last job she gets before retiring, shocks her and the FBI end up at her door. Vince is the total opposite of both Jordan and Florian. He is strong handsome and sexually experienced. What will happen when these three end up together?
This was a really great read filled with lots of action and suspense. You get pulled right into it and become part of the story. It flowed so well from beginning to end and kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved all of the characters and really want more!!

Overall i really loved this book. It was impossible to put down. I loved the story line although it didnt always come together perfect. I love the bad ass side of the story but the instant love didnt really work for me and the crying.....I HATE CRYING. Also how we were introduced to Jordan's FBI job was a bit confusing. But after getting past all of that the book was pretty HOT!!! And i was hooked. 4 stars!!!!!!

Interesting plot with great characters. Some aspects seem to happen very quickly but the story is enjoyable. Can't wait to read more.

*Gifted a Copy in Return for an Honest Review*
Female bad-ass...not usually my thing but I gave it a go and it turns out, it wasn't all bad.
The characters were enjoyable..I'm team Jordan in case anyone was wondering. He is nerdy, quirky and yet a total hottie. Vince is the definition of Alpha Male but does have a mushy side. Ari wasn't written as the naive/annoy virgin she coulda been. (Thank goodness for that!).
As for the story, it was different than much of what I've read. There were twists, turns, ups & downs. It did keep you wondering but at times I felt like there was a bit to much going on and found myself having to re-read somethings. The POV switching was also a bit confusing and to be in characters that aren't the main 3s heads was an 'odd' thing to do. Sometimes it worked other times It wouldn't of made a difference.
While the story doesn't end on a cliff-hanger it does end with the possibility of another book for the 'series'. I invested a bit of time with these characters so I would more than likely grab up the next book to see how everyone is doing!

I loved this book. If you are looking for a story to get you hot and bothered, but provide you with an amazing story that makes you fall in love with the characters, read this one! I promise you won't be disappointed.

I liked the premise. I just felt the execution should be better. For what it's worth I did not dislike it.
