Too bad I got the 1981 edition, but it was interesting to see how solar energy was being presented back then. What happened to solar roofs? Still some of the same stuff. Helpful presentation in terms of doing the most with the least, working with your regional climate and emphasizing conservation. Happy to realize that my historic house is actually quite energy efficient and set up for further efficiency with south facing windows and brick walls for thermal mass.
