Even though I was a little late to start reading the works of Zacharia, I have been hearing his name ever since my kindergarten days during the various discussions in my family and the mainstream media.


So when I saw one of Zacharia’s books during a book exhibition, I impulsively bought it without even looking at its blurb. I was mesmerized by how he looked at this world, and his choice of words and topics are also praiseworthy. My next mission was to purchase all the books written by him and try to read each one of them. This was one of the books I bought during that period.

I consider Zacharia one of the best writers of short stories in Malayalam. He has the courage to dissect some of the topics that even the so-called literary giants are even scared to think about. This will be a good choice for those who love to read short stories.

This was a re-read. But then again I relished going through the weird, wacky and wonderful world of short stories created by Sakkariya.
