Altyn (mmc, twin, bear) Rita (mfc, human) West (twin, bear) Daisy-Dawn (with West) Asher (Alpha, mixbreed) Hawthorn (bear)
Altyn was the last bear in the clan left unmated before the full moon happened. Once the first bear of a clan took a mate, the rest of the clan had to find their mate before the full moon, or they would be stuck in bear form. West and Altyn fought over West's mate in the last book because their bear form kept jumping from one to the other. Rita is a nurse at the hospital, but she got lost hiking in the woods. Altyn, in bear form, finds her. Will she be able to bring his human form back? Magic always has a cost.
“All thought ceased to exist as she slammed her mouth back to his, kissing him like he was her oxygen and she was desperate to breathe.”
Look @pjamesonauthor has turned me into a shifter girlie. I read Handle with Bear and adored it 🩵 So I got happy when I saw the ARC for the next book in the Griz Mountain Shifters series.
Altyn Phillips has been locked in his bear form. He feels lonely and is starting to fade into the wilderness. Until he meets her…Rita. Now he is fighting to be with her for as long he can and maybe, just maybe he can heal his wounds along the way.
Check out the whole series: •Bear You Belong •Intensive Bear Unit •Handle with Bear •Some Bear Out There
I have never really read a shifter romance before, so this one was new for me and I really enjoyed it. This book is the 4th in the series, but honestly, you can read it separately.
I thought this book was really intriguing and I loved the main male character, Altyn!!!! The protectiveness, YES! The connection, YES!
I have received this ARC for an honest review, all thoughts/ opinions above are my own.
This one got me right from the start! I actually had to postpone reading it. I started to read it at work and by the 3rd or 4th page she was already yanking at those heartstrings and I wanted to cry so I had to wait to actually read the book so I wouldn’t be crying at work 😅 but it’s such a great story. Altyn and Rita are perfect! Happy reading and don’t forget to grab a few tissues, you are gonna need them 😍😭🥰
A-mazing! I waited a minute for this! The last story in the series, and it was AMAZINGLY well written, told , and shared. Thus was emotionally charged. Sacrifices made for the others and selfless all for love. Two lost and lonely people afraid to love again. Just awesome! These characters where amazing and their personalities just shined lime the sun. P.J. your awesome and your mad writing skills are rocking!
The twin bond between siblings breaking and rearranging at abandonment changed the end game for West and Altyn. One would have his bear return, and the other would hibernate forever perhaps. There is sadness in the story arcs and yet love survives and endures in all its iterations.
I loved the series! Definitely a good read. The one thing I hated was *spoiler alert*
He lost his ability to shift. Like after going through all that trauma to add that too seemed a bit much to me. Just seemed like a sucky conclusion after all they went through.
Although Altyn's story had sad aspect it was still a great book with a happy ending. Rita was an interesting character from the last Q. I still loved all the characters from the series, but disappointed that it ended. I was hoping the author would somehow squeeze another book from this. Definitely recommend this series.
I've enjoyed every P. Jameson story I've read, so have no fear and take the plunge. This story was especially cathartic because it seemed that Altyn was lost to his bear. The end is a little surprising and still satisfying. I do hope we get to hear about the younger boys finding their mates at some point!
This was an enjoyable read. In order to get the backstory, I suggest reading this series from the beginning. Finding his mate after the full moon was serendipitous, but he was already moon cursed. Her singing is what brought his humanity back and they worked their way to their HEA. I enjoyed this entire series.
This one was my favorite in the series. I loved every word. Broken pieces can always either be put back together or used to make something new. Until next time y’all happy reading.
I received the ARC for this book, I just was not a fan of the concept and although it was an easy read with it being so short it felt very rushed and it was not my jam. I can see why others who like the shifting concepts would love this just personally not a fan.
If I could give this story more than five stars I would. Sort of sad to see the series ending, but what a fantastic way to go. Loved the surprise twist. Do not see that coming at all, but it was a doozy! But I loved the epilogue!
he didn't find his mate before the full moon so he faced the faced of not having one, but months later his bear found her lost in the forest and helped her to safety. then the journey begins. 😊
The last of the adult bears seeks his mate and his bear is taking his humanity. Liked the story band the consequences of the full moon. Liked the relationship and as quick reads these are good books.
